Thank You Mr. Jim Robinson

Posted on 06/11/2004 8:37:37 PM PDT by DollarBill

A mark in time, forever preserved, by a forum that has embraced the emotions of the events that captured our attention and demanded our thoughts. Thank you, Jim, for your dedication and hard work so that we can share, with our Freeper family, our thoughts and emotions as we move through time and history.

As a professional Lurker, I usually do not say too much and I probably spend too much time here reading all the wonderful and usually wise comments... But at this special time I want to say how much I appreciate this forum, especially this week... You all did good by President Reagan, keep up the good work!

Thanks for this thread, DB. I appreciate this chance to specifically thank Mr. Robinson and all FReepers for this forum.

It's amazing. What would we do without it? Not that I'm hooked on it or anything...;-D

After this week of loss and grief, we find out exactly how important our fellow FReepers are to us all...

God bless us every one.

Mr. Robinson: Thank you too for your noble efforts in creating and launching FreeRepublic, the thinking person's discussion forum. It has allowed me the opportunity to voice my opinions in a forum where my thoughts and positions are buttressed, analyzed, argued, and very often critiqued by other conservatives.

Given that I work in field heavily infested by academic left wing leeches, I find the intellectual debate here enlightening and often comforting although at times exasperating. I would want it no other way...

Thanks again!

Indeed. Mr. Robinson took an idea (political website) and made it a real force in American politics.

FR has been mentioned on Sean Hannity's radio show, and Rush's, numerous times. I'm sure it has been featured elswhere that I have not heard of.

Mr. Robinson, thank you.

I'm a relative newcomer to FR, but those sentiments express my heartfelt feelings to a T. Thanks for doing that--and thanks, Jim.

And speaking of Dollar bills, let's keep this going!

ALL of us FReepers need to become monthly donors! If you haven't done it yet, don't wait for the next FReepathon!

A Dollar a day is not a burden!

It is the best investment a FReeper can make!

Great Tribute $Bill, and thanks to Jim Rob for creating, maintaining and improving Free Republic over the years.

Free Republic is my main source of news. Many family members and friends, who used to joke about Free Republic, now want to know what Free Republic has posted about breaking news and the spin from the left.

A monthly donation to Free Republic is one of my best investments in keeping America viable and free.

Let's not forget that freepers led the counter-attack during the attempted 'rat putsch in November of 2000 in Florida. When Jesse Jackson went down to lead 'rat marches, freepers found out where they were going and got to an ampitheater first, and Jackson left the state. That's just one example among many about how FR minutemen were instrumental in saving the Republic from the attempted 'rat election theft.
