Blubbering like a baby in LA...
Yea, I kind of felt like we were intruding....Nancy just looked so lost. She reminded me of my grandmother when my grandfather passed away.
I think it was a testament to Ron and Nancy's compassion and understanding that they allowed us to share in their grief.
God bless them.
Did you notice that right after she honored her friend and colleague, the sun went down. Two of a kind. May God raise up more like them.
Here in GA, I, my wife and son(cried). This morning, and this evening, and a couple of times this past week. And I will say that it is very, very hard to make me cry.
Yep me too- that last song was just a killer!! Anyone know what it was? It sounded like movie music. The music had me going and then she looked at the coffin going back down the aisle and it was all i could do in a room of colleagues not to blubber completely!
ditto
Not me, I'm a Marine, I only got "misty".
Ron did OK. That was a family service, as well as a service for the nation. I thought his remarks showed that even a son who had strong differences with a father could see the remarkable goodness in the man his father was.
President Reagan was a man who had to make choices about family and duty, and I know those choices can be hard on the family sometimes. Ron did fine.
The only other time I wept like this was when my grandfather passed away 6 years ago.
God be with you, Ronald Wilson Reagan.
Yes, us conservatives are stoic..it takes a lot to make us lose it.
what did michael do?
Misty is okay...
He should be thinking un-marked grave.
Thanks...I needed this laugh.
I had the same thoughts as you.....can't figure that one out.
How could a real American NOT cry?
Exactly the same timing here. Michael's was a beautiful tribute.
Yep....blubbering here as well. Mine started when Nancy leaned on the coffin one last time
Yeah thats when I lost it too.
Somehow, I picture Clinton's funeral will take place at some sleazy strip club where his wife Hillary will receive an honorary dance poll.
God Bless YOU Budge, I hope you are well.
"I signed the condolence book at the Ronald Reagan Library website."
Thanks for the notice...I just sent my condolences.
