Of course, Arnold. Also, I saw Johnny Mathis, Wayne Newton, and Tom Selleck.

Who else do you see, and are they Republican?

OK, well Wayne Newton is close to the Reagan family ... for decades.

I found the choice of music very interesting. Think about it - how many times in the past few days did you hear the Star Spangled Banner versus America the Beautiful. What ever happened to the movement to change the national anthem?

Pity Ray Charles wasn't there to sing America the Beautiful...

Are they going to erect the mauseleum around the casket's current setting, or is it to be moved elsewhere?

"this is the
first time the Dodgers have EVER been to Fenway."

Didn't the Brooklyn Dodgers play at Fenway during the 1916 World Series? Or did the Red Sox play their home games at Braves Field (which had more seating capacity) in that World Series?

But one of the most beautiful roads I have ever seen is taking 118 from Simi Valley towards the San Fernando Valley. I have at least 50 photos in my dresser and I always look at them from time to time to reminisce.

Thanks, you made my heart smile.

You have photos of the backyard I grew up in, in the 60's, 70's and early 80's :)

Did I hear that Norman Lear is going to speak?

He wanted to speak, but they wouldn't let him, so he's just planning to come and sleep through the service.

this is the
first time the Dodgers have EVER been to Fenway.

Neither has been to a lot of World series is why. Gotta give it to the Dodgers though, they've actually won a World Series more recent than 1918

not really.

the dodgers are actually second in world series appearances,
behind the evil empire, and the red sox haven't done that
badly, either;

[see the goofy little graphic towards the bottom of this page]

in fact, the dodgers played the red sox in 1916, but the
game was played at boston braves field, because it was
bigger.

boston won in 5 games.

nope. the dodgers @ fenway thing is just a stone cold
fluke.

yes on both counts. Yes, the Dodgers played the Red Sox in
the 1916 World Series, and they played at Braves Field.

I saw Mickey Rooney, don't know his party affiliation, but when he saluted, I LOST it!! The composure I maintained throughout this week, even Nancy's farewell at the coffin, dissolved completely.

I thought the same thing. Maybe this is one of the areas that has very little rain. I thought how easy a fire could take out the whole area. Hope they've made special provision for a fire.

I was wondering if there was complete list of the celebs who attended.

I was sort of surprised that I didn't see Morgan Mason with wife Belinda Carlise. Did John Sears show up??? I am not even sure if he's still around.
