The shot of the hearse alone is so sad. It has hit me..he is dead and just like my grandparents who both died in the past few months, the sense loss seems overwhelming.

Californians love Reagan as much as he loved California.
Somewhere, Nancy Pelosi is pouting.

That would be surprising for "The Economist."
In the eighties that weekly mag was a capitalist stalwart. Now it's become more of a Socialist Weekly Reader.

Yes, the recessional hymn was from "We were Soldiers.' It was a nice touch to tie in Hollywood and Mel Gibson and hero fighters into the church service.

Does anyone know what the name of that beautiful instrumental piece is that was played when the clergy and then Nancy exited the church?
I had just got myself composed and then that was played and I lost it again.
And does anyone else feel like this? When I shed tears during the service, they not only were for the Reagans but also for my Dad, my deceased Mother, my sister, others close to me.

That's funny because this morning, Ed Rollins was on Fox and Friends and when he was asked about the landslide that he orchestrated, he said....."Well, we did lose Minnesota!"

CNN is trying to do damage control by spining with Gorbachev. Transparent.
Back to Fox and C-span.
