This is not an exercise in nostalgia. Nor is it, with my apologies, an exercise in respect.
It is an exercise in longing.
...a longing for that kind of leadership all over again.

"There are actually millions of Republicans out here."
I know there are a few (*wink*) of ya'll left. I feel for you that the GOP out there isn't able to release the deathgrip the RATS have on the state.
Maybe one day again common sense will return to Sacramento.

The greatest President of the 20th Century... #2 or #3 in history? Without a doubt we need to see Reagan on Mt. Rushmore. Is this an undertaking worthy of FReepers?

The must be INFURIATING the liberals, left, socialist democrats. People have just stopped just to see the Great Man's final ride.
I said it before I will say it again:
This Marks the SECOND Reagan Revolution.
ALL future Candidates will be held to the Reagan Standard of CONVICTION.
To: jsullin007
Yes. If you want to hear it again it's

This silent majority needs to make sure they get off their duffs and vote this November. One by product of Reagan's death will be another shot in the arm for patriotism renewed, and I think that will get people out in November to defeat that which Reagan opposed (hence, voting for GW).

Was I hearing things or did the Military band at the funeral at the National Cathedral at the end of the service play the theme song from the movie "We Were Soldiers" while the casket was being carried out by the Honor Guard pallbearers? Yes you heard it. On another thread someone said the name of the tune is "Mansions of the Lord".

This week's outpouring of love for President Reagan and all he stood for is proof that a large part of this nation has been hungering and thirsting for Righteousness.
