I've never really felt a kinship with Californians until now. I walked past that same casket a little over twelve hours ago. It gives me peace to know that.

All those people along the motorcade route are in additon to the 100,000+ who made it to the library earlier in the week. Standing out in the sun, practically on the freeway, they're so close that every time a car or motorcycle goes past, they get the dust and the fumes. Its just an amazing scene.
