Isn't it a shame that the stupid dems cannot add 2+2?
Look at this math:
Ronald Reagan, 200,000 respecrful viewers= honor and respect! I was talking to my mother in law, who is a Dem
She was commenting on how today was such a lovely tribute to President Reagan
But of course she did have to make a comment about how he wasn't a great President but he was a good Man
I didn't argue with her .. I just said I'm not surprised of the turn out of people because this was the same man that too 49 STATES in 1984
She dropped it after that

Yes...Mrs. Thatcher is on the plane...and Chris Wallace said, unlike other politico's who the Reagans did not want to attend this PRIVATE service, Mrs. Thatcher would not take NO for an answer....
God bless her. I keep thinking of a line in a Tom Clancy book where he describes our relationship with the U.K thus: while we would fight to defend our allies, we would throw ourselves in front of a train for Great Britain...and vice versa.

They said 45 minutes ...but will depend on the size of the crowds along the route.

oh I hope Tom Selleck will be there. He was so sweet the other day discussing the Reagans, and he said the most important thingg: He chided the Hollywood community for not honoring Ronald Reagan, and the New York Tony Awards Show on Sunday night for not even mentioning the death of Ronald Reagan. He did it without anger, but with great power.

Oh..your mom really loved your father. That is beautiful..and sad. I still feel like Jerry will walk through the door and tell me it was all a dream and he is still here for me. I have not fully accepted it yet. Give your mom a hug for me.

Thank you! I watched C Span earlier for the funeral, and the only thing that made me mad during the coverage was seeing X42, and his mate battling SLEEP and BOREDOM. GRRRRRRRRRRRR
God bless our Gipper, and his dear Nancy. I've got a new box of kleenex ready for this evening.

I did the same - as soon as Chris started talking, we switched over to C-SPAN.

I posted this last night and still would like to know the significance, symbolism, or where the slow cadence originated that the guards in the rotunda did when changing? Does anyone know and when or at what occasion(s) is this done?
To: texasflower
The American People have shown the old media how much THEY are out of touch w/the soul of this country and the values we hold dear. No nuances or PC....Will they get it?
To: Dog
CSPAN said it will be about a 45 minute travel time to the Reagan Library.

Where/when did Mickey Rooney do his tribute?
