They had some pointy-headed academic going on about how the backdrop of the Library was,
like everything else Reagan-related, carefully staged for maximum effect.
A nice constast to Carter and Clinton...who always seemed to carefully stage
for the lowest economic or moral effect, respectively!

Did you hear Chris Wallace say, that President Reagan loved Hail To The Chief and every time he heard it played, he would say to Mrs Reagan, "Honey, they're playing our song". They are about to play if for him now for the last time. I'm sure that will be painful for Mrs Reagan.

Yes, for all of our loved ones who have gone before us.
President Reagan reminded me of my Dad - big smile, powerfully built, joke-teller, and a loving man - but without the warts and the sometime grumpiness. He was the "ideal" Dad.

The guy could barely contain his sneer.The cynics cannot believe that Reagan was genuine and sincere. Since they are liars, thieves, and whores, they think everyone is like them. Can you imagine one of them saying and believing the words on the monument at the Reagan Library?
I know in my heart that man is good
That what is right will always eventually triumph
And there is purpose and worth to each and every life
It's awful to be so cynical and jaded that you cannot recognize either good or evil. Reagan recognized both - that was one of his unique gift to us.
