"We in the media failed the nation by not reporting these things about Reagan at the time.
"I have learned a lot about this side of Ronald Reagan...things I never new before. So I, too, have failed America."
[paraphrased]
More..
Bernard Shaw: "Can I say something that touches on a very sensitive issue? The news media, and how we failed to thoroughly cover and communicate the very essences we're talking about possessed by Ronald Reagan. What I've been reading and what I've been hearing, I did not get during his two terms in office. Or did I miss something?" Wolf Blitzer: "I think you're on to something, Bernie, uh.. "
Shaw: "I think we failed our viewers, listeners and readers to an appreciable extent. I can't quantify it, but I'll put it there. Because I certainly missed a lot."

The liberal press never admitted......xyz.
No, and they won't because they can never admit fault. Arrogant, conceited, and basically in this business for attention like a child. But all those things you said, that Reaganomics didn't create inflation more, that it ended communism, etc...I have heard all of those things reported repeatedly this week.
You want Dan and Tom and Peter to admit it was them that disagreed with that? Never. Literally not over their dead bodies. That is asking too much, but to have CNN and the major networks reporting the truth about the success of Reagan? I am shocked. I never thought I would see the day.
It is truely a miracle. You have to understand I have more of front row viewing of this all. I was there for 10 HOURS on Monday night Tuesday morning about the tens of thousands waiting with amazing patiences for a simple paying of respects. I was with people who would have waited another 10 hours just to complete their mission of honoring him. I was there yesterday among untold thousands on Lynn street for hours beforehand, only to have to move across the street because there were so many people I couldn't see the street where his hearse was happening to drive by.
You are looking for the media to admit fault so that people know they were fooled during the 80s....the people don't need to be told, they know.
LOL! Yes she does and so do I! The entertainment value is free. :)
I still do not know how journalists can say they did not know or were not aware of the facts of the former President's administration. It is their BUSINESS to know, they have to MAKE IT THEIR BUSINESS. It's what they do for a living.
Oink (flapping of wings)...
This is Baghdad Bernie? One of the most pretentious fools ever to read someone else's text?
I'm feeling dizzy....
Dan
Anyone seen my meds?
The article is gone. That's the problem with not being allowed to post the entire article. But maybe that's the point...
I stopped reading at that point. I thought it was a joke - a parody of Judy Woodruff. But after reading more posts, I realized that it's real!
Woodruff: Yeah, I just wanted to add, uh, what Bernie said, I mean I think...
No wonder I can't stand the woman and never watch her. Besides being bone-ugly, she's incomprehensible and speaks like a teenager.
