it was terrific. I'd heard it was recorded, but I didn't realize it was on video! The pictures of President Reagan interspersed in the video made it so personal, and she clearly loved and respected the man.

He is Dr. Richard Davis, Nancy's brother. To his right is his wife, Patricia. To her right are their children, Geoffrey and Ann, and I believe Ann's husband. This young couple, Nancy's niece and husband, became engaged in the White House one Christmas during the Reagan years.

I was just flipping through the stations after watching FNC coverage of the funeral and MSNBC showed a picture of a smiling al G(wh)ore entering the Cathedral (taped I assume).
I really hope that misreable bastard was not in attendance.

Peter Jennings was conversing with some guests after the service was over. Out of the blue, he brings up Clinton. Says that he has always been so happy in churches and noted that he was peacefully listening to the hymns with his eyes closed earlier in the service. I was wondering what wall that bounced off of, since I hadn't seen it. It was a total non sequitur. I can't imagine Peta going so far out of his way to try to come up with such an explanation for a Conservative.
