Haven't you ever closed your eyes during a funeral? Do you really think that Any of these people, who have to sit endlessly at boring events, would really fall asleep at this one, expecially with all the cameras. Give me a break.

God blessed America and gave us Ronald Reagan as President. It was a wonderful uplifting farewell to a great man....

ABC is surprisingly positive right now.GOOD. Peter was discussing Newt, who brought an uncivil tone unlike Reagan, a few minutes ago. Disgracefully imo.

I caught the end of it on Rush. I wish I heard the whole thing. Reagan was a truly great man.
Of course I've know that for a long time.:-)

I was flipping around and heard Sam Donaldson on ABC, so stopped to listen to what he had to say. It was good to hear, Sam was in good form. Peter was also doing a good job. Then Newt Gingrich passed through the picture, and Peter reverted to his vile form, blaming Newt for changing the tone from Reagan's friendliness to attack dog politics(Conveniently forgetting 1992's "worst economy in 50 years" and other lies.) Shameful.

It was a wonderful service. Lady Thatcher, Prime Minister Mulroney, Former President Bush and President Bush all gave excellent eulogies. I just knew Former President Bush wasn't going to make it all the way through his eulogy without his voice cracking. It got stronger after he did. Ronan Tynan made his fellow Irishman proud up in heaven. I thought Reverend Danforth did a good job officiating as well.
And thanks Fox, for keeping quiet and not focusing on the "celebrity" politicians entering the Cathedral while the President's casket was removed from the Rotunda.
All I can say is wow!

Are you going to also do DVDs on the entire weeks's ceremonies?

Bubba's funeral will probably be at Scores! I pass that place everytime I go to work and come home. I walk back and forth to Queens over the bridge and I have to pass that hole in the wall.
