I know he lifted my world. And, for that I am eternally grateful. Thank you, Ronald Reagan and Maggie Thatcher.

And might I add that there were some freepers who feared Ted Stevens' remarks the other day were "too partisan". Stuff and nonsense, many of us replied. Lady Thatcher demonstrates that comment upon President's Reagan's achievements in context are entirely appropriate.

I certainly hope so. But long may Maggie live. I hope her strength returns - we need it.

I loved the part "Reagan was NOT embarassed to be PROUD of America!"

Here's a fascinating thought....since Reagan was still compos mentis when he asked Thatcher to do eulogize hhim, I'd wager that he reciprocated, he would want to... and prepared one for her as well. It's probably a closely guarded secret, but we will hear from the Gipper one more time.....in fact, it has to be.....your thoughts?....I've been thinking the same thing.

I was on c-span for awhile. What did Brit Hume say?

Yes, and may He strengthen her in body as well as in spirit and uphold her through this entire trip.

I heard a writer who had written about Pres. Reagan's faith and who had interviewed Michael Reagan say that the president had confided in him [Michael] that his greatest sadness in life was that Patti and Ron were not Christians. That's very sad, isn't it? After he achieved so much for so many, he had to bear the knowledge that if their hearts remained unchanged, they would not follow him into heaven.

Every liberal historian will have to address lady thachers video. The has driven a stake into the heart of liberals for centuries.
To: Not A Democrat
Thanks. That's worthy some prayer by us all. One way we can thank Ronnie Reagan.
He'd much prefer to have Ron with him come that time.
