Hi FReepers
We had a wonderful time meeting Jim and Sheila Robinson and entourage at Basil's lovely home on Lake Travis near Austin this evening.
I'll let other write the report, while I work on photos to post -- here are a few for starters, many more to come:
Beautiful picture.
Millie or Spot reincarnated?
Are your pictures gorgeous or what? The one of Sheila is the best one I have ever seen. (Jim, she should get a copy of that and frame it!) You even managed to make Texas Cowboy look good! :-) (just being me of course Cobby!)
What a beautiful home, great looking group, and the pictures are just terrific!
Hi Gracey, good to see you again. This picture is so clear and lifelike I almost feel like you are in the room!
I understand that's on the final exam at photography school nowdays.
If you can make me look good in a photo, you've already conquered the biggest challenge in that profession.
You ought to see her picture of that Texas sunset! WOW!
We had a really good time, C.
I wish you and that old mutt could have been there.
Like me, she is now an old lady--but she has been a true and wonderful friend for these past 11 years. It is sad to see her go downhill, but that's life!

many mosquitoes there?
"I would kill for those deviled eggs!!!!!Literally kill!!!!!"
AH! me too! me too! MMMMMMM, deviled eggs, yes! my fave!
I just petted my English springer spaniel. 8^)
Jim, does your itinerary get you anywhere near Florida?
5.56mm
What great photos.....and what a fabulous view!!!!
She's beautiful Mari!!!!
Thank you.
I'm back from my job out of town, and I am bone weary, but had to check out the thread before I lie down. I'm such an addict.

You did a fantastic job with the pictures...Great gathering, Texans!
BTTT
LOL at your comments. Valerie does a great job with that camera. She's one of the best digital photographers around, IMO.
We had a good time with Jim, Sheila and Chris. Chris has been so wonderful, driving his parents all over the country while keeping an upbeat attitude.
I am sorry I missed what appears to be a fantastic party because of the Christian Medical and Dental Association Convention in Dallas. I did get to crash the Dallas meeting on Tuesday, however. It was good to meet those FReepers, but there's no place like home.
Happy Birthday, Dottie!
I did get to crash the Dallas meeting on Tuesday, however. It was good to meet those FReepers .....Likewise, it was nice to meet you, too ! :^D
Between this thread and the one with Jim and the Dallas FReepers' pics, I'm starting to miss Texas more than I already did.
