Hi FReepers
We had a wonderful time meeting Jim and Sheila Robinson and entourage at Basil's lovely home on Lake Travis near Austin this evening.
I'll let other write the report, while I work on photos to post -- here are a few for starters, many more to come:

See TC I am not the only one that thinks your handsome, just the only one forward enough.

Jim looks like you and Mrs. Robinson are enjoying your visits. I still would like to see you in a Quickie WC.
KV just bought a new one and the frame is all American Flags in Red,White and Blue. He has been in Quickies for over 20yrs top of the line in comfort, style and ease in wheeling.

Valerie these are IMO the best pics ever posted here at FR of a gathering.

Awesome. Glad everyone had a great time. Lookin good!

Thank you oceanperch.

Meeting at Basil's beautiful, spacious home gave me an unfair advantage in taking pictures, though, compared to all the meetings in restaurants.

Thanks, Gracey, especially for the personal report. Wish I could have been there.

Valerie, your photos are terrific. Can't tell you how much I enjoyed looking at them. Gracey told me the good looking red headed young man is your son. Let me know if you and he get up this way -- I have a daughter he should meet ; )

*L* Here's a photo I took of my son Gabriel yesterday morning in Dublin, TX, before his sunburn set in. He was very sloppy with the sunblock lotion. He's 14 yrs old.

He's a real cutie. He looks older than 14. Unfortunately my daughter is three years older than him -- a lifetime for teenagers!

Great shot. Nice to see photos of some of the FReepers. I've been away from FR for a month or so, and did hear about this. Looks like a nice place.

Oh! We had our wing-ding with Mr. Robinson 2 days before!

June 8, 2004
DALLAS FREEPERS DINE WITH JIM ROBINSON
(Report and Photos)

Excerpt:

For those of you who have never met Jim in person, he is everything you would expect and more. Lightning shoots from his eyes and fingertips, and he went around all night telling everyone to “knock it off.” :-)))

No, in actuality, Jim is a kind-faced man with smiling eyes, a gentle demeanor, and a sincere laugh.

That link, text and pic are at the TOP of profile page.

The pics on the thread have Red-X'd for the most part. :^(
