It's probably a pool feed.
They don't anymore?? If I'm up that late anymore I'm here, waiting for JohnHaung2 shift to start.
hopefully the tone of Hastert and Cheney will be enough to keep the media from focusing on Stevens.
>>Are CNN and Fox using the same feed.?
It's called 'pool coverage' - the networks et. al take turns providing generic video/audio of major events so as to not duplicate efforts, and save some money so they all don't have to send crews to things like this.
And it came from someone that actually knew the man.
Every time they show an overhead shot of the casket, I see that one sailor is standing back a little further than the other guards. It makes me feel bad for him.
Just "tens of thousands." Amazing crowds. Kristinn noted about a hundred people standing outside a bar watching the ceremony through the windows on the big screen TVs.
The heat was hard on everyone, including the military. The heat got to one of our FReepers in particular, but for privacy purposes I'll leave off the name. A couple of other FReepers will make sure that particular FReeper gets home OK.
We all know moving FReepers along is like herding cats. Kristinn reports some of the melted FReepers have gone to stand in line for the Rotunda, some went home, some to their hotels.
welcome to fr I noticed you signed up today
That eulogy done by VP Cheney was one of the finest I have ever heard, and delivery and emotion was perfect. What a great man, what a great service. I am beside myself with emotion, and love for this Country, and our great Ronald Reagan. God Bless AMERICA!!!!!!!
Me too...Hub's blowing his nose, I'm just leaking...What fresh and lovely faces and voices, God bless the dear sergeants.

Air Force Singing Sergeants.
Oh my goodness. That's precious.
Anyone know if that choir has a CD? I'd love one.
Patti was born 10/21/52, so she's 52. I don't know if she's ever been married. Ron Prescott (he's not a junior) was born 5/20/58. He's 46. I don't know if he and his wife have any children.
I wonder if this immense outpouring of love from the American people for their parents will finally get it through their heads what a treasure their father was. I know all parents and children have problems. It's a natural part of the process of growing and preparing to "leave the nest." But I have long had the impression Ron resents everything his father stood for. Hope I'm wrong.
Forget them, this is a funeral for them too. They just don't know it.
