The instrumental version of "How Great Thou Art" did it for me today.
the dems have always been fans of busing!
I'm watching on HDTV so it can't be the picture!
She's had a blank lost stare most of today ... but when she looked at VP Cheney .. there was a look of love and of thank you for his beautiful words for President Reagan
Me too! Please...
what?
pool feed, I'm sure
Me too. That choir sent me over the edge here. Who are they? Air Force?
Thanks for the choir clips...
Awesome. Just awesome.
Oh I don't think so- I LOVE our national anthem and I can hardly hear it without crying.
HOW can the Democrats hate our country so much? Seeing our military and watching all of this reminds me of how great it really is.
I think the term is "numb."
When my dad's mother passed, we were all rather stoic in that way; when my mom's mother passed this year, my brother and I (especially so) were just as "numb" during the services. We both spoke, and demeanors could have easily been mistaken for being unemotional -- at least until you saw my brother finish (he spoke just before I did), and the two of us embrace in the foot of the pulpit (we're both BIG men -- my baby brother a bit larger than me).
Stevens is in his 70s, and he's never had a bigger stage.
Some folks are not comfortable doing public speaking.
Probably an over-abundance of the usual mockery and hatred that emanates from that hole.
As I recall it, they only called it that because Carter said that America was suffering from "a great malaise." Everyone picked up on it (well, conservatives anyway, but I don't think liberals liked it any better thant he killer rabbit).
My 11 month old chose this exact moment to wave "bye-bye" for the first time--at Reagan's flag-draped casket.
Now I'm bawling.
Not at all, Steven was giving us a summary of his accomplishments. OF course that will look good. Who do you think this was x-u=know who?
Yes, and his words well chosen and powerful. I love Cheney. He is nothing like his media caricature.
I missed that shucks!
