"Indecent Exposure" John Kerry political cartoon.
June 9, 2004...
Kerry photo-ops Reagan casketPresumptive Democrat presidential nominee John Kerry showed up at the Reagan Library on Tuesday afternoon to view the deceased former presidents casket, setting off a firestorm of reaction. · At issue: The need for a Kerry visit to the Reagan Library in California. As reported by Rush Limbaugh, a Kerry spokesperson had already announced Kerry would attend the State Funeral for Reagan on Friday in Washington, D.C. · At issue: The photographer accompanying Kerry into the Reagan Library. Clear guidelines (handed out to everyone prior to entering the library to view Reagans casket) state: Absolutely no photography will be allowed inside the Library. A photographer entered slightly ahead of Kerry and took pictures of Kerry while he was there. These pictures were posted as Associated Press photos on YahooNews news 30 minutes after Kerrys visit. [see photo below] · At issue: The timing of the Kerry visit to the Reagan Library in California. Dignitaries could view the casket at the Reagan Library in California before the general public or after the general public; or in Washington, D.C. during the time set aside for the other government big wigs to attend. California Governor and Mrs. Schwarzenegger were in attendance during regular public viewing hours at the personal request of Mrs. Reagan who did not take Kerrys personal phone call to her, and did not issue an invitation to Kerry. |

What a horror this arrogant gigilo is.
I tuned into Imus today, against my better judgement. He blew this kerry photo op off. Democrats love this type of shallow emotional foreplay.
This brings into question the level of faith that liberals have. What or whom do they pray to? It is quite apparent from kerry's display on Tuesday that he faces a mirror when he seeks guidance.
This is a priceless photo.
This will not backfire. The media is ignoring it. Maybe he could have worn panties on his head.
Come on now you people. Can't you see that he "Feel's Your Pain". I wonder how kerry gets that bad taste out of his mouth after visting with his buddy BJ.
Same mold, different day.
Yeah, Imus blows.
Imus doesn't hold dear what I do. He 'blows' it.
Holding nothing sacred, knowing no hallowed ground... skews perspective. It's like looking at a blurry picture. Imus blows because he doesn't "see" it. And rather than say there is a genuine issue (the one others see, but he doesn't), he strategically takes what he thinks is the 'higher ground' and blows it off as nothing.
Seeing nothing doesn't mean nothing is there. Understanding the sacred and holy ground is wisdom Imus does not embrace. I wish he did.
"Yesterday I read that his campaign team was VERY concerned about this move but he insisted."
Listen, his campagne team is just a front for his actions. There is always an excuse. He wouldn't have pulled off this stunt if they felt that it would hurt him.
Don't forget, you and I come from another point of view. Remember Wellstone
Remember Wellstone
Remember Wellstone
Remember Wellstone
Slime to the 10th degree.
Excellent.
PRICELESS!!! KUDOS!!! MAGNIFICENT!! SAYS IT ALL!
Thanks a lot. Now, he will never look the same.
No pictures allowed?. . .forget about it. . .I did not come over here for nothing. . ."oh yes, bring that camera on. . .my long face works well for this one". . .
he simply excused himself with his usual. . .'do you know who I am?'; works in Massachussetts; and now across America.
Hard to separate sheer arrogance from desperation; but these qualities together surely make their own message for this political creep.
They did the same for the Memorial Day rememberance; it was not a campaign event; but like here, Kerry could not resist the opportunity for his self-gratuitous campaign mode appearance.
as for the rhythm; hear him speak. . .hopeless tin ear. . .and maybe his campagin if following the same 'beat'.
That may be my most favorite, yet!!!
Of course, they're all my favorites.
:)
Excellent work.
Check out some of these Kerry comments from the past:
* In November 2002, U.S. News & World Report carried this Kerry assessment of Reagan's presidency: "You roll out the president one time a day. One exposure to all of you [the media]. No big in-depth inquiries. Put him in his brown jacket and his blue jeans, put him on a ranch, let him cock his head, give you a smile, and it looks like America's OK."
He repeated the same sentiments in an interview with Vogue last year, this time drawing a parallel to Bush: ''They have managed him the same way they managed Ronald Reagan," Kerry contended. ''They send him out to the press for one event a day. They put him in a brown jacket and jeans and get him to move some hay or drive a truck, and all of a sudden, he's the Marlboro Man."
* That's not the only time Kerry has offered unflattering Bush-Reagan comparisons. In an interview last September with the Manchester Union-Leader, Kerry said, "We've seen governors come to Washington, . . . and they don't have the experience in foreign policy, and they get in trouble pretty fast. Look at Ronald Reagan. Look at Jimmy Carter and, now, obviously, George Bush."
* In 1992 Kerry said, "Ronald Reagan certainly was never in combat. I mean, many of his movies depicted him there. And he may have believed he was, but he never was. And the fact is that he sent Americans off to die."
* After his first major political battle in the Senate over Reagan's support for the Nicaraguan contras in 1985, Kerry said "I think it was a silly and rather immature approach," of Reagan's dismissal of a "peace offer" from Sandinista junta leader Daniel Ortega
* Last year Kerry said to the Democratic National Committee: "I'm proud that I stood against Ronald Reagan, not with him, when his intelligence agencies were abusing the Constitution of the United States and when he was running an illegal war in Central America."
In fact, Kerry has spoken at great length about the Reagan administration's "abuse of the Constitution" and "totalitarian" inclinations: "They were willing to literally put the Constitution at risk because they believed there was somehow a higher order of things, that the ends do in fact justify the means. That's the most Marxist, totalitarian doctrine I've ever heard of in my life. . . . You've done the very thing that James Madison and others feared when they were struggling to put the Constitution together, which was to create an unaccountable system with runaway power . . . running off against the will of the American people."
