David Gillespie may be an unlikely Rosa Parks, but we have to take our civil rights heroes where we find them. Mrs. Parks rebelled because, being black, she was told to ride in the back of an Alabama bus while whites got to sit up front. Mr. Gillespie could not tolerate paying a $5 cover price on ladies' night at a New Jersey bar while females were getting in free.

It would have been cheaper and quicker if Gillespie had simply paid 100 lesbians to go to that bar on a Saturday night. After that, the owner would probably be far more amenable to a "negotiated settlement."

Here's a novel idea:
Women like to meet men at church, but few single men attend.
How about offering a special "men's night" at church? Men get a discount (or perhaps a free indulgence); women get a greater selection. Everyone wins!
