That picture with the thumbs up really disgusts me. I hope that is his downfall.

"..but even mortal enemies can show respect to their deceased opponents by respectfully viewing/treating the body." Are you saying that Fidel Castro should be allowed to fly in and view the casket? (you presume Reagan's enemies are capable of respect, but evil is evil)

Sarge...I give the sheep a tad more credit. This was a phony photo op ...and will be seen as such.

Respectfully: BS.

No one ever went broke underestimating the gullibility and stupidity of the American Sheep.

I give you eight years of William the Impeached; The Reign of Terror: 1993-2001; and The Junior Senator From New York Whose Name Must Not Be Spoken - as evidence.

I can not trust the American Sheep to make a sound decision in November, and neither should you. That's why I'm hoping that every grass roots organization across the land, turns out to make certain these people stay out of power for time and eternity.

Reagan himself taught us, "Trust, but Verify". Trust the Sheep if you like, but I want it verified - with votes.

I agree. I remember the outrage I felt when the democrats at Wellstone's memorial booed some of our Republican senators. It was tasteless. We do not need to show the same level of poor tast. Kerry's actions today are for the camera and everyone will see it as such. But if we respond without dignity, we are only showing Reagan and his family disrespect.

Yep, I knew you'd notice the lip biting.
He's been practicing for this.

Unfortunately, Americans ALMOST elected Al Gore in 2000.

Did the Gipper jump up and hit Kerry with a rolled up Constitution and pelt him with jelly beans?

Lol, I was thinking the same thing! Maybe those nasty black licorice ones or the lime green ones, yuck. Save the red ones for his trip upstairs later, though. Too bad he didn't have the pleasure of Berty Bots Every Flavor Beans and he could have flung vomit and ear wax flavor at him.

Kerry is a real slimeball. It is baffling how grotesque he is.

Please, America, don't go for this slimy nonsense.

"It looks like since Donna Brazile criticized him, F'n Kerry has hired some black guys to hang out with him."

Or it's his imitation of Thomas Jefferson (or just "The Jeffersons").

I am not sure; perhaps CSPAN has the live video feed?

I just haven't seen any other intrusion like this.

I agree about Kerry. He has three days to strike poses in DC.

Like it or not, VIP lists are everywhere. It takes a special kind of slime bag to pull rank and take advantage. Most of the people on that list are locals and would not be in DC, unlike Kerry.

Probably becuase the Reagan library owns the footage of those who are visiting the late President in repose.

Kerry needs his own footage to exploit for his film during the convention of his acceptance speech he may or not make.

Not sure this was posted anywhere yet.

"A portrait of former President Ronald Reagan (news - web sites), made of different colored jelly beans, hangs in the Jelly Belly jelly bean company visitor center in Fairfield, Calif., Monday, June 7, 2004. The family-owned company that makes the tiny, intense-flavored candies owes a lot to the former president. Reagan's love for the candy 'made us a worldwide company overnight,' said chairman Herman Rowland."
