Feeling sad and having just heard the news that President Ronald Reagan had just passed this past Saturday June 5, 2004 at 5:00 PM I switched my car radio from my local news radio to my local NPR, PRI affiliate to get my fill of the left by listening to A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor.
I can normally make it through the live shows but this last show I had to turn off. The show began with ridicule and cheers from the audience when the Host (Mr. Garrison Keillor) announced that the former President had past away within the last hour. Yes folks, there were cheers in the audience. I waited for the host to ask the audience to refrain from cheers and to show respect, but this never happened. I was so shocked, then I began to understand it is hate, how the left hates us.
I am posting a link so you can hear this yourself.

Segment 1 at 3:17 into show.
To all who have learned that Garrison Keeler has insulted and hurt many people. A couple of days ago, the man's program broke my heart. He started talking about adoption. He said a woman tried to leave her baby on door steps, tried the hospital, fire station, etc, and no one would take the baby. Then she found a good door stop in Chicago and was able to leave her baby there. Then on her death bed, she told her number 2 son what had happened and wanted him to find him. Such talk hurts millions and millions of birth mothers who had to surrender children for many different reasons. This hurts adoptees to hear about a birth mother trying to ditch her baby! I began crying and crying and then I became mad. If a radio has to play Garrison Keeler, then I refuse to listen to that station. I am asking all of you who have been touched by adoption to write or call your radio station and ask them to replace Prarie Home Companion.
