The lot of the no-account eastcoast libsnob longhaired artsyfartsy slagpunk francophile comsymp is not a happy one. Not this week.

All of America and much of the world is celebrating the life of a man who actually changed the course of history, and, for once, for the better. But not quite everyone.

Yes they hate him. They hate him not because he did bad things, but because he did good things. They hate him because they hate America and he stood for all that America should be. They hate him because under his administration the lie was put to the hard left and it's arrogant defeatism.

You are correct, sir. That about sums up Reagan's whole leagacy in 3 senctences.

EXCELLENT!

Straight from the 'Spiro Agnew quotable quotes anthology'.

A "gay activist" (and aspiring theologian) in Florida writes that Mr. Reagan will "spend eternity in hell" because he was "responsible for 500,000 American AIDS deaths and 10 million worldwide," which if true would have made the Gipper the studliest and busiest man in the bathhouse. (Ten million tricks is a lot of tricks, even for a Gipper.)

Unfreaking believable.... and from an aspiring theologian? This is the psycho liberal mind at work. They spread the disease, they blame the leader and directly threaten the tax payer and what not, for not doing enough to clean their own messes.

This summarizes the heart of the liberal. What a messy lying big lie bunch.

I was at a birthday party Sunday for my 95-year-old aunt. An ultra-liberal cousin half-playfully swatted at my NRA cap. I said, "That's for Reagan." She turned red.

I had no real opinion of Reagan myself, but the liberals have persuaded me that the guy was more than decent indeed.

There is a very simple explanation why the left is so adamant about this.

It really has little to do with Ronald Reagan.

It has everything to do with justifying their own existence.

Robert Reich (the little worm) was on Fox yesterday trying to spin Reagan's legacy by saying the deficits were responsible for the economic problems which followed

I heard him on Hannity radio, and he scares the crap out of me. He is a bitter little man and had a real nasty disposition when Hannity was at a large gathering and called Reich on the phone. "He made a comment like 'your so called radio program is just a Republican rally and falls under the charter of the FCC... or something like that." you could hear the semi-bureacratic threat of dropping the hammer on "talk radio" by labeling them political advertising.

Listening to him and looking at him just reminds me of the Russian communist political official in the movie "Red Dawn". THis guy is an out and out communsist with a capital C written in big red letters.

The only good thing is that he is such a weasel he will never be elected but may end up on the appointed staff of any future Democratic administration like he did under (yeah I said "under" lmao) Clinton.

Reagen's deficits were simply the price of liberating Eastern Europe

Ain't that the truth. Reagan had to undo the FDR1 Eastern European 'giveaway'.

1: HST is also culpable. And let's not forget that during the initial phase of the Manhattan Project FDR was specifically kept OUT of the loop as he and his staff couldn't be trusted.

I've seen alot of people comparing Reagan's visions for America in the same respect as those of GW Bush. I think the biggest support for this idea is the obvious hatred...and threat, that the Left sees in GW Bush.

I once told a liberal( I apologize in advance to any Freepers who might be offended)that as far as I was concerned, Ronald Reagan sits at the "right hand of God". Stopped him in his tracks, and all he could do was to seethe in rage.
