Languishing in a prison cell in Central Florida is an inmate who could end up derailing Betty Castor's U.S. Senate race.
Sami al-Arian is being held on charges that he financed Islamic Jihad terrorists while a professor at a school Castor headed, the University of South Florida. You'll be hearing a lot about al-Arian, say Democratic insiders. Television ads are being fashioned that slam Castor for not firing al-Arian. Castor refused to dismiss the professor for years after calls he be tossed out and after international publicity about his role in Islamic Jihad.

Castor refused to dismiss the professor for years after calls he be tossed out and after international publicity about his role in Islamic Jihad.
Didn't O'Reilly do a show about this?
Castor's inaction will be the subject of ruthless ads being prepared to savage her.
Ads by EVIL REPUBLICANS? Read below.
Castor will be attacked by a committee with an innocent-sounding name like most 527 committees': American Democracy Project. Under the law, 527s like American Democracy Project can't be connected to political campaigns......American Democracy Project was formed in May by Bernie Friedman, a Hollywood lawyer and lobbyist. Friedman is about as connected as you can get to U.S. Rep. Peter Deutsch, a Hollywood Democrat running against Castor.
So Douche is behind this but don't worry the EVIL REPUBLICANS will ultimately get the blame for "smearing" Castor.

Castor? Is she the one who made that looney comment about her son, the prosecutor, getting Rush Limbaugh?

This apparatchik low grade dingbat didn't stand a snowballs chance in hell of getting the nomination anyway.
The seat is ours.

I'm less concerned about the RATS candidate than I am a RINO getting the seat. We can't afford Mel Martinez! Almost anybody is better. This is a guy who has given thousands of dollars to the Democrats in general and specifically to gun grabber Joe Biden.

Full article can't be posted under FR rules. Sun Sentinel is one of a growing list of papers who specifically forbid full listing of their articles on FR. That's the liberal biz.

Please post the full article. The paper wants me to register to read the story. Sorry but the Sun-Sentinel is one of those newspapers that requires excerpting. Don't blame me. Thems are the rules.

It's not a "charge." The donations are a matter of record and Mr. Martinez admits to them. Biden acknowledged the donations and they were a long time ago, so what? He's a RINO. I have no other candidate in mind and it is possible that given certain ethnic realities (influx of non-Cuban hispanics who tend to vote Democrat) in the state that he may be the only viable Republican candidate that can be fielded. But let's not be fooled that he's a conservative.

Yes, O'rielly exposed this terrorist sympathizer and fundraiser. That was great. Al-Arian claimed innocence but the facts hung him.
He should rot in jail, or hell, or get his 72 virgins and live happily ever after....as long as he's out of society.

So Douche is behind this but don't worry the EVIL REPUBLICANS will ultimately get the blame for "smearing" Castor. It's dejavu all over again! After all, the media conveniently forgot that it was Algore who gave us Willie Horton in the 1988 campaign.

This is a little late to add to the discussion, but I came across this website. Thought it might make for some interesting reading...
