This morning I ran a half-marathon (13.miles) in St. Charles, IL. Ironically, a northern Illinois town that in the early 20th century probably wasn't too different than Dixon, IL, Ronaldus Maximus' boyhood home. Though about that during the race.
So here I am at the start, and I see a light blue pastel shirt with "Run Against Bush.Org" and "Running for Change." I find it quite amusing that it's not "Running for Kerry," this guy can only be against Bush. Doesn't say much for John Fn Kerry.
Turns out that there are these "Run Against Bush" groups in 48 states. The list their meeting sites and times...Hmmmm...interesting.
Oh, back to the race. I passed the filthy Bush-hating liberal 20 yards into the event, and broke serious running etiquitte by yelling out "Hey, why bring politcs into this race, you jerk. God bless Bush!!" Taunting while passing a runner is greatly frowned upon.
Had to do it. "Run For Kerry" I can tolerate, but AGAINST Bush. Uh-uh.
I saw the "Run Against Bush" guy finish...12 minutes after me, a proud Runner FOR Bush.
If you had dropped some of these, that would have been inappropriate.
Thanks for backing up my response. As for the jacks/ninja stars, I'll be ready next time. Although it was a cycling flick, I'll review the film "Breaking Away" for other techniques.
So much classier than thumbtacks . . . . :-D
Wal-Mart,right next to the thumbscrews.
You're right,they're wrong.
Ironic, Wal-Mart, the leftists least favorite store!
The website is something to behold, check out the reasons they run:

These people are brainwashed, just plain brainwashed.

From the Washington Post:
Yesterday some 40 walkers and joggers turned out, one of the better showings since the group, Running for Change, formed late last year. Meanwhile, in New York, 100 affiliated supporters exercised their anti-Bush sentiments in Central Park, including filmmaker Michael Moore (who walked, we're told). "

Good show. Both the work of your mouth and feet were excellent.
