Cumberland was my hometown. Been in the news a lot lately. It's the home of the Army Reserve MP company to which Lyndie England and the other Abu Ghraib guards belonged.

I'm a born and raised Cumberland boy. This isn't surprising, given that it's where the 372nd MP unit is from. I just shot my mother an e-mail to see what's flowing through the grapevine.....

That is so weird.
When you go to Google and put in "Miss Marple", that picture comes up.
So...? What's the scoop, Miss M?

Two passengers aboard the train were said to have aroused suspicion, which led to the Cumberland Police being notified.

LOL.
Like a dope, I had to go to Google image search and type in "Miss Marple". This is what I got instead of the shower girl:

THAT kind of publicity is the kind we don't need up there, bub. We already get the dung-covered end of the stick from Annapolis. It would be totally in character for heathen Mooslims to kill your mother and mine because a couple of local trailer park refugees started making prison-issue shower caps out of soiled panties. Of course, this is Cumberland - foreigners stick out like flies in a sugar bowl. And guys like my uncle a awfully good shots with their deer rifles. :-)

I know the Fox News story said the train was the Three Rivers, however, the Three Rivers' map shows it does not go to DC nor does it go through Maryland.
The Capitol Limited does go to DC and it goes through Maryland.

I am sure there is nothing to this story. It is not being reported at all on the major networks and there were no human pyramids or women's panties involved.
At least not that I have heard.

There's apparently "other stuff" in Cumberland.
On the "nuclear war target" map, Cumberland gets its' own personal strike.
I dunno what the "other stuff" is but it must be important.
It's a good 120 miles from DC, at any rate.
I didn't know Amtrak even came out this way.

Tactically, it's a shadow of it's former self. The fiber plant's gone, as is the tire plant and PPG. But, there's still Allegany Ballistics Lab, and a huge regional rail hub. It's nothing that you'd put on your 'A' list for a terrorist attack, but you know those maggots would like a little payback for Abu Ghraib.

Scott Peterson was not on the train, and Kobe could not be found. Nothing to see here, move along.....
To: OXENinFLA
Fox news just said the two men "have a package which the conductor feared was a bomb".
