I know President Bush will be at Normandy tomorrow, but does anyone know when he's coming back to Washington?

I feel so empty right now. I don't go near any liberals right now. I don't know how I'll react to them.

I remember when Richard Nixon passed on, 8000+ people attended the funeral ceremony in California. I'm certain Reagan's funeral will be much bigger. I hope Rush Limbaugh gets to say a few words at the ceremony. Rush has been a tireless advocate of Reagan's ideas for many moons. It would be quite fitting I think.

There was a perfect quote from Reagan himself about seeing people again....it was just beautiful. I broke down.

They just played it on ABC, but couldn't catch when he said it.

Also, just announced.....President to not give a written statement, but instead will address reporters this evening......possibly an address to the nation tonight.....not known exactly yet.

ABC read a statement from FrankenKerry. It was very neutral without any attacking President Reagan. Probably knew it would be political suicide to do so.

. Rush has been a tireless advocate of Reagan's ideas for many moons.

Wasn't it Rush who gave him the name "Ronaldus Magnus"?

President Bush is showing his deep respect for President Reagan..it is after midnight in Paris and Jim Angle on Fox said that President Bush has to be ready to leave his hotel around 4 or 5 am for his big day and his D-Day speech. This shows what a wonderful man our current President is, too.

When Reagan was running against Carter, I didn't care much for him. We had real problems and this actor was going to be the cure-all? No thanks. Inflation was running at 16% to 18% annually. We had embassy hostages being held by the Iranians. The Nation had allot of problems. But Reagan got himself election.

Three minutes after President Reagan was sworn in, Iranians released the hostages. From that moment and for the next 8 years, President Reagan restored the United States of America to a proud Nation. He restored feeling of pride in the Nation that, for so many years, was viewed worldwide as the Ugly Americans. President Reagan stood for America and stood against the threats, such as Communism.

We are a better Nation, a more proud people, because of President Reagan.

President Ronald Reagan had a huge role in making this Hispana a Republicana for life.
Rest in peace, Mr. President.
You've finally broken free of the chains of this horrid, horrid, disease.

I've been practicing, knowing this day would come, and at dusk, I'll be in my front yard playing this (badly, but with all my heart and soul) in President Reagan's honor.

C-SPAN needs to repeat his last address over and over again until some people who really need to listen to it actually do sit down and listen to it.

No, no, no- politicizing this death seems very wrong (do we want to be accused of having another "Wellstone Memorial"?). Prayers for the family.

All local affiliates here have dropped live coverage except ABC and channel 3 carrying CNN.
Fox 10 abruptly stopped carrying the FNC feed and promptly began blasting some awful sitcom.

We owe him a debt that cannot be paid. I know where I was when he passed, and sincerely hope his predecessor GW is up to the task and will follow in his footsteps as closely as he can. Now Let's win one for th Gipper.

We *can* repay that debt -- by holding on to and fighting the good fight for the conservative values that he held so dear. He made it cool to be conservative! :)
