ABC just announced :( Ronald Reagan was 93
Never have I been so emotionally moved by the death of a public figure. Even back in the days of my youth, ignorance and liberalism - I had respect for the man. I checked the Drudge Report after coming back from my afternoon swim and checked the headline (knowing that the President was in his 'last legs'.) I stared at for a moment, not sure if it were real. I blurted out, "holy sh!t, he'd dead" to my wife. It was the only way I could react. We are a little broken by this news at our house. Even our 90 lb Rottweiler joined us in our group hug. President Reagan was the President of our youth, unswerving in his moral ideals and convictions.
Please pray for Mrs. Reagan and their family.
Remember where you are this day. You have witnessed the passing of a great one! With Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt and others, he now belongs to the ages.
God Bless You Ronald Reagan you were the first President of the United States that I had the honor & privilege to vote for & you shall remain forever in this freepers most fond memories known as Ronaldus Magnus!!!
The EVIL of du is going on about how Reagan was evil and how this will help Bush.
They just stun me. Damn them.
Goodbye Ronald Reagan, you were an inspiration and led me to become the conservative I am.
great picture *ping*
RIP
I'm going to the White House. I hope there aren't any damn moonbats there. I'm not in the mood.
It is fitting that right now we are reliving Reagan's economic "miracle" of tax cuts. Reagan's economic legacy should be the abandonment of static scoring on tax cut issues and development of good dynamic scoring models.
Bush 43 tax cuts just prove the point again-- look at how much revenue has risen, even though the static models assume that lower tax rates = lower revenue. (they leave out the stimulative effect which is obviously proven).

Most of the folks over at DU suck to be honest. Cannot believe they have no respect for anything.
The tears haven't come yet, though I know they will. I just feel pain for our lose.
But just to think the wonders he is seeing right now!
Yes, I certainly can.
It is said that grown men don't cry.............I wonder when the tears will stop. I am happy for him though...he is no longer lost with that horrible disease nor is he in pain. I know that he must be smiling at us all and preparing to patiently wait for his Beloved Bride, his Nancy.
send urls of the DU threads to people like Hugh Hewitt, James Taranto, Mickey Kaus, etc...
Take a candle with you...
No one in our time has exerted a greater impact on history, nor has another been a greater force for good.
Our realm is poorer but his reward must be awesome to behold.
As long as America stands, Reagan Lives.
What a hero! What a real giant!
Seems like all they are talking about on CNN is iran-contra and reaganomics big-budged deficits. SHAME ON YOU CNN!!!!!!!
God Rest This Great Man's Soul
I feel the same way.
Prayers to the family.
President Reagan certainly changed my life. May I be blessed to positively influence at least one person only a fraction of the way he influenced me and millions of other Americans, especially at a time when things we're all so great. He gave us his optimism, his strength, his courage and his belief in the American idea.
And he had a pretty darn good sense of humor.
It's pretty hard for something to mist me up and I knew this was coming but even so it doesn't stop the mist.
