Time to start carving again on Mt. Rushmore. Great thought.

The Greatest Leader the FReeWorld has Known in My Lifetime!!! The Great "Cowboy," the last defender of "Rugged Individualism," has left "The Shining City On The Hill," for the Holy City beyond the Sky!!!
God bless America and God save America now that he is gone!!!
He's what inspired me to be a real "Movement Conservative!" He made my move to CA politically bearable with LBJ in the Whitehouse squandering the nation's fiscal resources. I have been unable to stop missing him in public life and I will always miss THE MAN!!!

I hope that President Bush will give the man the honorable burial and mourning that he deserves. We really should have some day or days of national mourning for him, I believe. He did a lot for America.
Thank God for President Reagan.

God bless the greatest president of my lifetime and the only one I've ever seen in person. I saw hin at St. Johns arena in 1984 on the Ohio State campus....most of the people there were college age kids like me and we all cheers for him. God bless him.

Rest in peace, Mr. Reagan. You were one of the greatest Americans of the 20th century.

Rest in peace, Mr. President. You were one of the greatest people of the 20th Century and one of our greatest presidents.
Whatever memorial this country makes in his tribute, it should be equal to Mt. Rushmore.
I voted for him in 1980, my first election, because my father told me to. :) And then, in my youth, I became a liberal, and could not, at the time, appreciate what he was doing. Now, I am in awe at how he brought the Soviet Union to its knees in eight short years.
I am so sad. We all knew this day was coming, but it's still hard to take.

Put your faith in God Scott; you have the opportunity and the honor of reading his speech to your church and commenting on his passing...
You'll do well; we'll do well!!!
RR was the eternal optomist; we need to remember that...
Post me as to how it turns out; please!!!

I DARE the liberals to smear Ronald Wilson Reagan in this election year. I double-dog dare them. Serpent, smear is a very nice word compared to what they have been saying on the internet since this morning, as well as on C-SPAN in the past 30 min about Reagan. The vituperative hatred liberals have for him is amazing. They are calling him every cuss word under the sun, even dismissing some of their fellow lefties who are asking them to tune it down.

It will probably show up on the Wall St. Journal's web, or pMSNBC's when available

I understand the need to know our enemy, but I don't think these quotes belong in this thread. Management will decide.

Remember the people dancing upon that evil wall as they tore it down?
That is but a part of his legacy.

Apparently I misunderstood your post. While I still disagree with it even though I am no fan of Carters I apologies for the implication that you have no class. Sorry.
