There will probably be tributes to this old fool so here's my bio: Reagan was a second-rate actor who started shilling for big business (like General Electric) in the 1950's, and that's what he did the rest of his life until he started wearing Depends. I'm so tired of instantly zotting these people into the ether cleansing absolutely nothing but the pages of freerepublic. these kind don't go away and thinking they are not an enemy because we don't see or hear them is the height of political blindness. They exist, and falling to their level by trying to match wits with them is pointless, but it is good to be continually reminded of their presence and their desire to be a problem not a solution. There is nothing more disappointing then to click on an interesting thread to find parts of it have been censored, or worse the whole thread removed. Maybe to avoid the misuse of bandwidth, threads needing a zot, could be limited to 50 comments, and then placed in the zot hall of shame so the rest of us could have the pleasure of educating ourselves like the first 50 respondants.
Reagan place in history is secure and if and when the Gipper passes you will see not only conservatives and Republicans honor his life's work, but most of Eastern Europe as well to the horror of Democrats. The Convention would be a rallying point for us all.
