Be Seeing You,

Chris

Well, if Klayman did, he indeed has a fool for a lawyer!

Nonsense.

Really? I'm sure "nonsense" is what Nixon said when he was told that a two-bit break-in could bring his presidency down.

It's never the deed - it's the coverup.

This whole case was trumped up out of whole cloth, and it would not surprise me to see it get placed right back at the dims door step.

I've been saying that for months. I would love to see the Wilsons "frog marched" off to the hoosgaw.

Did you not read the article? It's not about his will.

And do you honestly think Bush would have waited until THIS WEEK to write his will?

Like what?

They're investigating who gave Shermy all of this info about their investigation.

CBS reported this, but while it freaked me out at first, it sounds like they just contacted the attorney in case Bush is asked to testify before the grand jury like many other WH officials.

Nothing scary yet.

Well, there it is again. I show up, only to find Freepers freaking out over nothing.

Please don't paint with a broad brush. The majority of us are doing no such thing.

"Klayman has a suit against Judicial Watch????"

Sure. He filed it right after suing his mother. It was the only organization he hadn't sued yet, and he saw it as a fresh source of income. Of course, he had to file an immediate counter-suit to protect his own reputation.

but I don't think they let him make phone calls to the press very often.

He calls who he wants to call, I imagine.

Why would he call Robert Novak? He's not even a Republican.

"They will do anything they can to regain power"

I agree with that. But we should have seen it coming. The media lied their way through the Clinton years, this really isn't much different. The news media simply covered the news by omission.

Schwarzenegger in CA showed the dims how close they are to the precipice.

It truly is a dangerous time when one party sees regaining power as their only goal.

The president seems to have been in an exceptionally good mood for the past couple of days. I wouldn't worry.

If it is Scooter, and he is indicted pre-convention, it could work as a net plus if Cheney is dumped and replaced with Giuliani or Ridge... in which case, Cheney will get the clue he is no longer wanted and fake a "heart attack" and step aside for health reasons.

(just trying to think like a deranged conspiracy theorist might think)

Disclosure of an undercover officer's identity can be a federal crime except when done by a journalist or other Democrat in pursuit of their political agenda.

Where's the scandal? I am amazed after 8 years of legitimate abuse of power, obstruction of justice and scandals, that the press is consumed with (1) Panties on Iraqi heads as "torture", and (2) The non-Leak of an Overt Covert Agent.

You know perfectly well why the press is consumed with such matters; this is a Republican administration. When Clinton was awash in perjury and corruption, they couldn't spell s-c-a-n-d-a-l if you spotted them the s,c,n,d and l.
