Support a RINO-Hunter: Sign Up for Mike Miller Meet-Up
Meet-Up ^ | 5/31/04 | John Day

Posted on 05/31/2004 8:37:32 PM PDT by JohnBDay

If you were disappointed by the results of the Toomey-Specter primary, take hope in that there's still a chance to replace a RINO with a real conservative. Mike Miller is a conservative Republican running against RINO Senator Lisa Murkowski in the Alaskan primary. Miller is pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, and pro-tax cuts.

The National Journal has rated Murkowski as the sixth most liberal Republican Senator and the most liberal Republican Senator west of the Mississippi River. Murkowski is also considered vulernable in the general election against Tony Knowles because she was appointed to seat by her father, Frank Murkowski. Even if you don't live in Alaska, sign up for the Meet-Up to give Miller support and momentum.

Reputable Alaska polls show Mike Miller losing to popular Democrat Tony Knowles by 15 points. Senator Murkowski runs even, and with turnout, should win. If you want a Democratic U.S. Senate, support Mike Miller.

Some of us would rather fight Democrats. i'm more worried that good Conservatives are behind in North and South Carolina where they should be ahead.

Wonderful. I hope Mike Miller is victorius. Please keep informed about his progress. When is the Alaskan primary?

Worried? I'm not. Burr will be fine, as will Beasley/DeMint/Ravenel.

Cause remember boys and girls Clinton taught us that principle does not matter. So lets embrace that message who needs conservatives when we can just stick an 'R' in..

::yawn:: Alaska is solidly Republican. The fact little RINO Lisa has a last name EVERYONE has heard of and still can't beat a FAILED governor shows what a joke she is.

NOBODY has heard of Mike Miller at this point. If he had HALF the name recognition that little Lisa has (which he would no doubt get from a primary victory), he'd be polling 15 points AHEAD of Knowles.

You "pragmatic" RINO supporters are so predictable.

MOST of the time, you rant and rave:

"This IS Pennsylvania/Illinois/New Jersey/California...NOT a right-wing state.... conservatives are UNELECTABLE here!!! Nominate a RINO or the DEMOCRATS WILL WIN!! A VOTE FOR ANYONE BUT A RINO IS A VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATS!!"

Yet, when an election ACTUALLY happens in one of those staunchly 90% Republican "right-wing" states, you NEVERTHELESS scream:

"Only the RINO candidate CHOOSEN by the party LEADERS can WIN... I don't CARE if this state's last five GOP Senators have ALL been solid conservatives, ONLY Liddy Dole/Lisa Murcowski/Gale Norton/Mike DeWine can WIN!!!

I wonder if you guys will EVER find a state where those naughty conservatives are "electable". Let's see....MAYBE Mississippi is right-wing enough. Nah, only Thad Cochrane and Trent Lott can "win" there. I guess EVERY state in the union should nominate RINOs, eh?

You guys are so predictable. I hope you're happy with the the Senate GOP being able to pass absolutely nothing thanks to your "electable" RINOs. It's unfortunate that the Dems have spine and nominate "unelectable" people like Byron Dorgan instead of DINOs.

Where does Sen. Lisa Murkowski and former state Senate President Mike Miller stand on Mr. Ruedrich and the party's ethical posture? Do they support him? This will deside my vote.
