A Day in the Life of President Bush (photos) 5.31.2004

The President and First Lady went to Arlington Cemetery where the President laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

He spoke briefly on the character of America's Military, past, present and future, active-duty, deceased, retired, or reserves, and their committment to the Country.

Sec. of Defense Rumsfeld received a standing ovation that clearly touched him (no pictures I could find that showed this) and also gave a short speech on the dedication of America's Military.

I think that man has an anger management problem--calling his Secret Service Agents SOB's and now this--how can we get this more publicized???? There's GOT to be a video of this out there somewhere, and I hope someone gives it to FOX . . .

Good job arguing the president's case AmericanMade1776...................I'm wondering if our visitor, Amerigomag, has ever seen this thread:

Who says George W. Bush has done "nothing" for conservatives?

Particularly post # 1368.

Your account of the Memorial Day service sounds exactly like it's supposed to be all over America.
I salute you for your service.

Barns and Noble in Annapolis said they didn't have Bill Sammon's book in front because they didn't have enough copies! I took three of the books about the President, including Bill Sammon's book to the first display in front and put them over the negative ones.

Democratic senator - and certain presidential nominee - John F. Kerry gave the middle finger to a Vietnam veteran at the Vietnam Memorial Wall on Memorial Day morning, NewsMax.com has learned.

Except for Newsmax and Rush, who just talked about it in the 12:30 to 1 Pm EDT timeslot - we will never see this covered anywhere else.

Even if there is film, no one except for Fox would show it.

And I have this feeling that Dims who saw it would accuse Fox of "film tampering" because of course, their candidate couldn't possibly be guilty of such a vulgarism. We all know he's a cultural elite, so he couldn't possibly stoop to such low-class gestures.

Well, HE DID. He flipped the bird at someone who told him he shouldn't be a candidate for President, much less Commander in Chief, from the "Vietnam Vets against Kerry" President!!!!! Dontcha just love it?

My favorite part was Rummy patting the President on the shoulder.

I don't know the date, but the President mentioned in his "it's such a nice day here in Washington, this has turned into a press conference" that he is giving a speech on the subject of Iraq at the Air Force Academy and while mentioning that the White House press corps woldn't be there, he offered to "rent C-Span for an hour" for the reporter who asked the question he was answering! It was priceless.

And although Rush just mentioned that reporter's comment from an unnamed woman, and the President's answer, Rush didn't give the date of the Air Force Academy address, either. Sigh.

I guess we'll just have to keep watching for it.

And now, off to work. Have a great day, homemom.

Truthy

Anyone voting this way should go over the ballot several times to be SURE everthing has been done correctly. Baltimore Co. in Md. is famous for ballot fraud, voting from the grave, etc. The name of the woman who gave the state of Florida to the President admitted she voted this way once and forgot to sign it!!!

Good work! If we all do this when we are out, whether in book stores, or the book section of Sam's or Wal*Mart, we can make an effect on what gets displayed.

I admit I've moved copies of the anti-Bush books and put them behind a bunch of mystery novels! Make 'em hunt for them if they want to find negative books about my President.

new computer? right?

Indeed I am back, and with a new PC. My son's friend built this one for me and loaded it up with software then gave it to me for my birthday. Quite a nice surprise I must say. I still need to install other software, some of which is not in my hands right now, but I love Windows XP and I am soooo glad to have an Internet connection again!

It was ugly out there, being cut off from FR and Email.

RE: Kerry's bird . . . How is he going to react if/when reporters ask him difficult questions??? Pout? Stomp his feet? But then he's a lib so they probably won't ask him any difficult questions.
