Jim Robinson, his wife and his son will visit with the Heart of Texas Chapter of FreeRepublic on June 10th. All Austin area freepers in good standing are invited to come for this meeting.
The event will be held in my home in Lakeway TX, just a bit north and west of Austin. The meeting will start at 6PM, and dinner will be served. Freepmail me for directions to my house.
We are asking each guest to bring a covered dish of any kind--this is potluck--so whatever shows up is what we will eat--LOL!
We are also asking everyone to bring photos and videos of freeper events that they might have. We will spend the evening visiting with the Robinsons, talking over old times, as well as looking forward to the elections in November, which should make it a lively evening!
Thanks for the ping! I don't want to miss the opportunity to meet JimRob!
I can't drive five hours in pouring rain.
It didn't slack up until about four o'clock, and by my emergency weather reports, it wasn't any better to the north.
I hope y'all have a really good time!
See you in Austin, Jim, if the Good Lord's willing and the creeks don't rise anymore.
Sounds good. I'll look for the back Stetson!
Looks like rain all week, pard.
How is Logan's Nana doing, by the way?
Thanks for asking, pard!
Hi Chong ...... glad you are going to be able to meet Jim, Sheila and Chris.
Sounds like this is going to be a fun week to be in Texas!!
Give Sheila a hug from me.
Amy
I stayed at the Menger hotel for convention.
JimRob, make sure they give you a room with good A/C!
Lovely hotel with lots of historic artifacts.
Thank you dear Amy.
I can't wait to give Jim, Sheila and Chris big hugs!!!]
God bless you all.
Howdy everyone. Checking in from Austin, Texas. Going to dinner now. Will login again when we get back.
You'll have to ask these folks for anymore details.
Stay safe Cobbie. No stupid storms will stop you of course!
That wasn't your old, ordinary, run-of-the-mill storm that kept me from Frisco!
This was a humdinger with tornado stuff, and it didn't look like I could drive out of it going north.
But I'll be in Austin tomorrow night if I have to hire a boat!
C'mon up. The water's fine. LOL
