All right, I've decided to try my hand at political cartoons. This is my first, so it's a bit rough. Yes, that's supposed to be Bush.

Very good, IMHO. Everyone has a different style, but this is strong and all of a piece. That looks a lot more like Bush than the horrible caricature the Dems put out.

Yes, that's supposed to be Bush. I was gonna guess Jerry Mahoney
Seriously....nice effort.
Keep it up!

Bush doesn't look a whole lot like Bush, but horse face Kerry, looks exactly like himself.
Very good political sattire.

Looks like it went over very well. The inking job is great, and I like the text.
Can you add in any gray to your picture? I think it could help. For example, you could make Bush's hair gray.

(Kerry, you have low poll numbers but I have good news. I just saved hundreds by switching to Geico.)
To: Sofa King
It would be better if you had an offer to replace mike lukovich. It's pretty neat. Keep it up!

Depends on how I do it. I could add shades of gray when I'm doing the digital editing (re-sizing the image, etc.), but if I'm going to do that I might as well go all the way and color it.
What I probably should do is learn how to do shading with the ink (ie, filling an area with thin parallel or criss-cross lines). Of course, I could also use charcoal instead of ink.
I'll just have to figure out my style as I go along.
