If I've ever had a slightly jealous bit about my fellow females -- it's this ability of many of them to "cry on whim or demand". I've never had this skill. Ok. I guess I've never had the desire to learn this skill. Okay. Brass tacks. It probably didn't work on my parents when I was little. So, I didn't see it as a viable or productive skill. It really works? Egads, maybe I should join a workshop er somethin..
Ok. I've read through all the posts. I think Nancy Pelosi needs to get her hormones checked. This is out of character for even her. To bawl like this. She much prefers the "assertive" woman posture. I bet someone told her a war story before she went on the air. "The troops".. she sobbed? Been talking to a lot of military; not a single one would relish knowing and hearing this "Eva" weeping for them. EEyuk.

No, don't go there. Actually, the minute it dawned on me that I was following a pattern shown to me by other females in the family -- I ditched it.
One reason I have to be really careful NOT to do this is my husband is such a happy-go-lucky guy that he sometimes will overlook any signals or complaints about our relationship or some behavior of his unless there ARE tears -- then I have his attention. So I could really manipulate him if I wanted to -- but I DON'T want to. Now, if I cry about something and I'm really upset, that's okay, I just can't do it in a premeditated manner.
We've been married so long, though, (we hope to celebrate our 30th anniversary at W's second innauguration) that we almost have the same thoughts at the same time.
If only I had another life... I'd learn how to compile all this stuff together and air it wherever I could... I'd have so much fun with this stuff...
For those who haven't heard .. MTP has pulled the 2 re-runs of the program on CNBC .. LOL!!
Evidently Pelosi was more damaging to the dems than she was to the President. ROTFLOL!!

Timmy showed her "I have a SCREAM 2" speech from algore. And then he asked Piglosi, point blank, about his statements. She dodged the question saying, "I hadn't seen the speech; I was campaigning". Timmy, a nanosecond later and with a slightly more insistent tone said, "I just showed you the speech, what do you think." She stammered and then said it was, essentially, a "style thing".
He also asked her about her own rhetoric and how the troops might think it is negative for her to call their Commander-in-Chief incompetent and not a leader. Her hands were shaking when she was giving her answer, which was a disgraceful response saying that she was doing "for the troops" and their well-being, she hit on that they didn't get what they needed (materials) in combat because of President Bush's alledged incompetence, bad leadership, and lack of planning by Rumsfeld and crew. It was a repugnant answer.
If Timmy were truly a man of integrity, he would have followed up with a question: "Do you really expect the American people to believe that? You are a disgusting person, Mrs. Speaker...disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourself." Alas, he didn't say that.
Guess they changed their minds - CNBC just ran the segment. I didn't watch.

Yeah right. Who does she think will buy that act ? Certainly not another woman. Those eyes are pulled so tight she couldn't squeeze a tear out if her life depended on it.
