KHOBAR, Saudi Arabia - Tens of American, European and other hostages were released Sunday and a gunman believed to be the lead Islamic militant holding them was arrested, a Saudi security official said, adding that two other gunmen were "in the process of being arrested."

In my on and off again search of past messages at IH today, I came across a few posts that mention possible upcoming attacks, and a few included Italy. In this post below and others that mention specific nations -- including messages by top al qaeda leaders -- the order of targets is not necessarily followed by the terrorists. For example, Spain was one of a few nations mentioned as a target by usama before Spain was actually hit. Opportunity for execution and ease of planning (meaning: no problems among cell members and no hitches in their work, etc.) likely factors into it.

I don't think the Islamonutjobs are our only enemy. We have another enemy within and I can't figure out if they are one in the same. I really think they are. I just believe deep in my brain that all roads lead to the Clintoons. I think when they couldn't get Gore in they tried to steal the election, that didn't work so the terrorists hit us because Clinton and cronies had dismantled our intelligence gathering capabilities and everything else we use to defend ourselves. Clinton really sent us up to be hit. They divided this country into hyphenated ethnic groups. The PC BS they perpetuated has made defended ourselves even more difficult and apprehending and jailing terrorist next to impossible. I just know the Clintons and the elite of the left are lurking in the shadows. I got a feeling they will try for a major power play when we get hit again.

Interestingly he brought up the fact that on 9-11 the one's who survived were the people who ran. Most of those who did not take it quite as seriously died.

That's a sobering truth.

However, I would have thought that by now, we'd have a plan that was a bit more organized than just "run". I can envision a scene tantamount to the running of the bulls in Pamplona.

Maybe at least it could be: "Ladies and Gentlemen, could you please walk as fast as you can.....downwind." ;-)

I just went to that nuke scenario link, and as soon as I saw the words "shock wave" on the page, I thought of the usama collage pic that StillProud posted today.

The pic has lightening bolts over wave-filled seas. Here is what I thought:

lightening bolts and water = shock
wavy seas = wave

Miami Drivers Sue Shell Over High-Sulfur Gas
(Miami-AP, June 9, 2004) — Florida drivers are suing Shell and its refiner, Motiva Enterprises, claiming defective gasoline damaged their cars.
Lawyers for Miami-area motorists with broken gas gauges will seek more than $100 million in damages.

The suit estimates one million vehicle owners pumped high-sulfur gas supplied by the Shell-owned refinery before Shell and Texaco shut down about 400 stations just before the Memorial Day weekend.

High sulfur levels can break gas gauges and make them read full when tanks are empty. The suit is the second to be filed in Florida over the gas. The latest seeks class-action status to cover anyone damaged by the gas sold in Florida.

A Shell spokeswoman says the company had not yet seen the lawsuit and would have no comment on it.

If we get hit again we could easily go into martial law if it is as bad as projected in some scenerios. The military won't let Clinton and the leftist elite rise to power in that situation.

I was referring to another excerpt of a translation posted the other day that said 150 tons and then some very small sized bombs as well. I don't think they have a 150 kiloton bomb. I do think they have some small nukes though.

150 kiloton is wahabist psych ops or if real it's from a nation, not al qaida and there will be lots of new glass across the globe shortly.

N.C. Boaters Urged Not To Use GPS This Weekend

PORTSMOUTH, Va. -- Boaters will be unable to rely on Global Positioning System equipment and possibly cell phones because of scheduled disruptions from Friday to Sunday that will affect mariners transiting the waters of North Carolina and parts of Florida.

GPS interference testing conducted during an exercise by the Department of Defense will make the GPS signal unreliable and may affect cell phone signals from about 50 to 60 miles off the coast of Cape Hatteras, N.C., and approximately 80 miles out between Jacksonville and Melbourne, Fla.

Disruptions along the North Carolina Coast will affect Albemarle Sound, Pamlico Sound and the Coastal North Carolina area from Currituck Beach Light to Cape Lookout and the IntraCoastal Waterways of North Carolina.

"The Coast Guard fully supports the efforts of the Department of Defense during this important exercise," said Rear Admiral Sally Brice-O'Hara, commander of the Fifth Coast Guard District. "But, we must get the word out to impacted mariners so they can take the necessary precautions to keep themselves safe during this busy boating season."

Mariners should not rely on GPS nor cell phones from June 11 to 20. Plan ahead and use VHF radios to communicate on the water. A cell phone is a good backup communications device, but out on the open water, it is no substitute for a VHF radio
