Re- hard to live here as a Muslim. Recall their warnings that the "rabid Americans" would attack their mosques after the attacks began. They told Muslims to worship at home.
2 Fridays ago the mosques were packed (according to posters here). Last Friday----quite empty.
Probably a major clue to timing.
Re- the bombs- I think by now most of the bombs would NOT be in the mosques, but would be in the process of being transported to their final destination.

BRITISH AIRWAYS REROUTES SAUDI FLIGHTS ON SECURITY CONCERNS
June 8 (Bloomberg) -- British Airways Plc, Europe's second- largest airline, is re-routing flights to Saudi Arabia to go via Kuwait so crews don't have to spend the night in the kingdom because of security concerns.
The airline flies four times a week to each of Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia's largest cities, said a company spokeswoman in Dubai who didn't want to be identified. The change starts tomorrow, the spokeswoman said.
A statement bearing al-Qaeda's name said yesterday the group will target Western airlines, the Gulf News reported from news agency reports. The statement, signed ``al-Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula,'' appeared on a Web site known for posting messages from militants, including a video in which a militant group with suspected al-Qaeda links executed an American kidnapped in Iraq, the Gulf News said.
The statement's authenticity couldn't be verified, the Gulf News said.

Last week my husband and I took those same steps - got our Wills prepared and signed (and copies distributed) and our Living Wills (Hospital/Medical Directives) prepared as well. In these times it is foolish to think we are indestructible. Better that our family is aware of our wishes and inherit our worldly goods (rather than pay for bonds and fees that serve the State's coffers and delay distribution to our descendants and beneficiaries).

Thank you Donna. Granddaughter's surgery went well, but she's facing another one at the end of summer, so all I have to be concerned about now is that she isn't too playful and doesn't damage the surgeon's work from the one she just got. Kids will be kids. She was already running up her stairway after she got home from the hospital. You just can't keep them down.
I heard about Harley and cringed when I got the news. He is certainly in Harley Heaven now. I still cry about pets I lost many years ago. The pain just never seems to go away. God's creatures are so important. When we took our youngest son to the airport this morning, two deer ran out in front of our car just as we were leaving the airport and before rush hour traffic. I'll be praying that they survived all day long.
