Yes, I think some of these are in the book, and of course the Mother Earth had several articles on them, I used what I had and it worked.
The last small kids that lived here, played in it, during a
week long snow storm.
One faced west and had a south end, the other 2 walls were the mobile and an add on.
Then there was the one between 2 buildings with a west end and it worked well also.
Thompson Seedless grapes grew 40 foot long and had grapes full length. Shade in the summer and dropped the leaves to let the sun in, for the winter.
Some to grow Tilipia fish in them.
I always wanted one large enough for a swimming pool.
I know someone who had one once, they used the water for the plants and by using it each day, did not have to treat it.
Your imagination and bank account are the only limits.
A simple lean-to will serve the purpose, or let the dreams free...........

I'm way out of the loop on this one. I don't even know who Kathleen Keating is.
(But, I'll probably have to hunt down the information. Now that I'm curious. LOL)

But you can't eat the solar panels.
Yes they work, an Uncle in San Diego, had one of the first ones, he used it to heat hot water for the showers in about 4 apartments.
Worked, until the relatives showed up, for a week.
He used it for years.
Today's are not even related to his.

OK, I'm out of the smoker's closet, too. But I limit myself to the office/computer room only. And when I'm camping.
Good to know there are others here who share this vile habit.

I used to receive newsletters from Kathleen. The last one came on December 25th. Not a word since. I hope she recovered long ago from her flu. I see her website kathleenkeating.com is still there. She always sent nice messages. Here is the Dec. 25th one:
May each and every one of you have a blessed and wonderful Christmas! I hope that the majority of you have avoided this terrible flu. As I recover from my bout with it, please know that you are all in my prayers.
I thank all of you for your prayers while I was sick. They truly made a difference.
We'll be returning to the regular weekly Perspective and Ezine within a couple of weeks. I'm doing my best to get better quickly. We hope to start the internet radio show in a couple of weeks as well.
Wishing you Christ's Peace throughout the year ahead. May you have health, happiness and joy.
God bless,
Kathleen

I just want to say three things to you all:
cough -- cough -- cough
But don't mind me. I'm just jealous because I quit in May of 2002.
