Certainly the more educated know that nukes are devastating.
However, it is not as though their science has moderated their understanding of reality a great deal. It seems to me their science has mostly made their efforts more deadly.
Their religious idiocy and zeal seem to mostly give them incredible tunnel vision. That tunnel vision seems focused on essentially one thing:
I don't think even the educated Jihadi's think that much about how much devastation will result though they have already apologized ahead of time to the citizens of the world for doing so. Maybe they think about it some.
They clearly think that the devastation is a small price to pay for Islam being king and only force on the dung heap that's left after their rage and idiocy have born the fruit of their sowing their seeds of hate.
They clearly have no clue that the same puppet masters that have wound them up to devastate so many millions--err--'cleansing the world' of so many millions-in-the-way-of-the-puppet master's 'enlightened' leadership . . . the Jihadi's have no clue that once the dirty broom [the Jihadi's] have done their dirty work, they, too will be incinerated. The Anti-Christ will have no other gods before him--to the extent he can get away with it in time duration and breadth of influence.
But for now, the Jihadi's have received only fuel, permission, orders, assistance, etc. from the puppet masters. They understandably believe they are going to get away with triggering WWIII for the establishment of a totally Moslem world. They are deceived, deluded and drunken on the notion, on their rage, on violence, on pride, on their idiocy, on their revenge for perceived centuries of slight etc. And, they are bloodthirsty in all the worst ways.
The only worst thing . . . is the rebellion against God in our own land--which makes fighting the Jihadi's harder and which sets up so many to be traitors in our midst in the name of individual and group rebellions against virtually any authority but their own and definitely against the Judean Christian God Almighty.

To assume that AQ and their jihadi associates are operating on their own, with no outside assistance, either technologically, logistically or financially, is a mistake in my opinion. Unless you know it to be a fact that they are totally independent of any outside help or assistance, it is best to err on the side of caution. Having said that, however, it still mystifies me that they have done nothing here since 9/11.

As I understand it, many, if not most, of his codes are below the criteria of statistical validity according to the latest statistical experiments comparing WAR AND PEACE with THE BIBLE/TORAH.
I personally do believe that many codes WILL TURN OUT TO HAVE BEEN valid codes WHICH DID NOT MEET that statistical criteria. I believe the criteria is something over 30 Coded words or some such depending on some other variables.
There are many shorter codes which are in a fairly tight matrix with a lot of other shorter codes and with keywords which cross key words of the surface text about the same subject as the codes. This happens over and over and over again. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN in things like WAR AND PEACE etc. However, to my knowledge, no one has devised a good way of statistically distinguishing such phenomena with solid statistical probability computations.
We can see their beauty; their synergy; their proximity; their balance . . . a lot of nuances about them which speak of DESIGN. But we haven't yet matched their sophistication and design with suitable statistical descriptions with which to distinguish them from what can be produced by chance. At least, not the last I've checked and I just scanned the latest edition of the Bible Codes Digest.
In terms of the 2006 year. It does appear from Codes produced at the level of sophistication 2-3 years ago [which now might be considered not passing the criteria of significance test] that there were 2 years during which there were 'windows of opportunity' as it were for the start of WWIII. The first year was 2002. The 2nd was 2006. I remember reading at the time and felt that the 2006 was much more likely--one of those feeling-it-in-the-bones things.
We do know from prophetic sources currently in Christianity that we are to be praying against satan trying to start WWIII AHEAD OF GOD'S TIMING on it. That I feel very strongly about. Certainly satan's ONLY goals are to steal, kill and destroy. Those are his only options--to kick as much sand in God's eye by harming destroying as many of God's precious created humans as possible--to take as many down to hell as possible, etc. Thankfully, the worst he can do to Believers is to cause them to reap a greater weight of glory in eternity for all the troubles he gives them/us in this life.
I personally still feel that LIKE MANY THINGS IN THIS END TIMES ERA, the Bible Codes are not yet . . . discovered to the level of sophistication and revelation which they will later be shown to produce. I just don't think it's God's timing for that yet.
I believe that there will come a . . . transition point . . . when children will be giving revelation and commanding in Jesus' name things which will devastate whole armies and resurrect whole fields of dead. I believe it will be routine for Believers to travel as Philip did. I believe that miracles greater than feeding the 5,000; raising Lazarus; walking on water; etc. WILL OCCUR ROUTINELY. I believe we will see miracles which are hard to conceive of, to comprehend at this point in time. I believe that ONE of countless phenomena at that time will be Bible Codes which will REALLY boggle the mind in displaying the majesty, grandeur, eternal timelessness and power of God Almighty, His Only Begotten Son by His Spirit.

IMHO the fact that the publish Voice of Jihad and Al Battar on a regular publication schedule, containing current information from the upper levels of Al Qaeda, says an awful lot about the lever of impediment that has been place on their command and control. In other words, they are in may ways free to communicate throughout the world. That means that there is something of a command and control structure intact.
Underestimating Al Qaeda is not something that would be wise in my opinion.
Case in point: Global Islamic Media gets shut down. By the end of the day, they are back operating. Al Ansar gets shut down. They are back complete with all archives.
The sheer fact that I can go online and locate threats and good wishes to the "martyrs" during the first week of September 11 should say a lot.
They are still able to communicate. As long as they can communicate their plans and their weapons designs, and as long as they can conduct recruitment operations through the internet and freely in our prison systems, and in our schools, we have a problem.
*MOST* Bible Code scholars do not believe the Codes can be used at all to predict much of anything. Some are guarded about the issue.
Personally, I believe that they are MOSTLY designed to affirm, confirm after the fact, God's majesty, timeless power etc. Many Biblical prophies are similarly cryptic etc. such that we only see with hindsight specifically what was referred to.
I DO BELIEVE that eventually, we'll discover startling Codes which WILL PREDICT. Whether we have the horse sense to understand the prediction well or not, is another issue.
By the way, those kitties were being talked about as cute kitty pics by the jihadis - someone typoed an Arabic word and it came out as "cats" so some smart one posted the cat pics.
As best I can tell no cats were harmed in that post. (They'd best leave the kitties out of this.)

I know exactly what you mean about that "feel it in your bones" type of thing. That's how I kinda feel about the coming summer, which for me starts Friday afternoon when I check out of school for the start of summer vacation. The next day, my wife and I will hop over to Wal-Mart for our annual shopping trip in search of provisions in case of Hurricane. In this instance, it'll serve a twofold purpose. But trust me, plastic sheeting and duct tape are NOT on the list! I know too much about the nature of chemical toxins.
I also believe that the miracles you mention as occuring routinely will actually happen, but not until after the transfiguration of the church, i.e. The Rapture. As I said, a Kerry win or a massive attack puts that event suddenly at center court.

He could easily, to my thinking, come across at some point as a sort of damage control ahead of time by the puppet masters--detract from the Almighty's association with the Codes, discredit the codes etc.
I've known/felt for decades that the ET's were going to be credited with setting everything up as a wholesale satanic swipe at the God of The Bible. I felt they would even produce a holographic video purported to show that Christ's miracles were false etc.
