On April 29, 2004, as a service and tribute to members of the World War II Generation, the National World War II Memorial opened for public viewing, exactly one month prior to the formal Dedication Ceremony taking place May 29, 2004. The World War II Memorial is the first national memorial dedicated to all who served during the Second World War. The memorial, established by the American Battle Monuments Commission, honors all military veterans of the war, the citizens on the home front, the nation at large, and the high moral purpose and idealism that motivated the nation's call to arms. The Second World War is the only 20th-century event commemorated on the Mall's central axis. (from www.wwiimemorial.com)
Don't forget that you can watch the dedication today!! God Bless all of our Veterans & Active Duty!!! |

You are absolutely correct.
You shouldn't speak anymore. After all, that's exactly what they want you to do.
They want you to go away.
Be more like MoJo, live to spite them. Hehe!

YOU have nothing to be absolved from!! You are there in their hearts. You are there via phone. You are there via email. You are there!! That you are torn up is an indication of how much you ARE "there"!! You care!!
"...that I had to go away because I loved them so much that I HAD to protect their entire country. Was that REALLY the truth?"
That was the truth. Never doubt that for one minute. It is you, and the rest of our military men and women, that keep America free for the idiots with big mouths.

You are busting your butt for the future of your child. You are on the front lines. Not like Hannity or Boortz. You are the fighter. The Nation relies on you, the SecNav relies on you. The CINC relies on YOU. You have a huge part in all of this.
The leftist is already known to you. You are protecting
their freedom to act like seditious pigs.
The righties are against you because you are in the Navy?
Your doing fine... don't let some jackasses get under your skin.

Actually, I live for two reasons...
1. To suppport and love my family;
2. To support and defend the Constitution.
That includes the descisions of the Supreme Court, which is appointed over me.
there appear to be some who think my duties lie elsewhere. Thus, when I disagree, they call me an "enemy".
It escapes them that I only defend the PROCESS by which we make our laws.

To be fair , Sarge, I'm not on Deployment right now, I just got back.
I'll be going next Summer.
There are Soldiers who face FAR MORE than me on a day-to-day basis. I just had some rough times for a short while "over there".
I just would like a good night's sleep, once in a while...
