On April 29, 2004, as a service and tribute to members of the World War II Generation, the National World War II Memorial opened for public viewing, exactly one month prior to the formal Dedication Ceremony taking place May 29, 2004. The World War II Memorial is the first national memorial dedicated to all who served during the Second World War. The memorial, established by the American Battle Monuments Commission, honors all military veterans of the war, the citizens on the home front, the nation at large, and the high moral purpose and idealism that motivated the nation's call to arms. The Second World War is the only 20th-century event commemorated on the Mall's central axis. (from www.wwiimemorial.com)
Don't forget that you can watch the dedication today!! God Bless all of our Veterans & Active Duty!!! |

Do you realize that two years ago I went to look something up for my son at Walt Disney's official homepage and it was hacked into and guess what popped up? Pornography!
Some of the pop-ups online are pornography.
Shoot! I've gotta tell Sarge he can't be on the computer either. LOL!

It just affects me that I'm not there to help he and his Mama, Y'know?
Yeah, there's worse fathers, but that doesn't absolve ME, does it? I'm still not there.
I told his Mama once that I had to go away because I loved them so much that I HAD to protect their entire country. Was that REALLY the truth?
Or am I REALLY an "enemy of society?"
Christ, I know my duty. But do I have to have the Left AND the Right against me?

You are not an "enemy of the state".
Heaven forbid you'd have an opinion to something going on in the world. After all, your fighting for the rest of us to freely express our opinions.

I didn't see the picture because I'm not affected by any picture of a beautiful woman. Now if you had Matt Biondi in his swimming days. That would be a toughie. I'd have to put the blindfold on. Hehe!

Here's my take:
Pornography is a problem in this society because there's a business for it.
It damages families because one person has made the DECISION to open their life to it.
It isn't the entire society. It's just the select few.
To paint the Navy with his stereotyping is ridiculous, offensive, and fightin' words to me.
