The FBI office in Denver has received 'numerous' calls about the seven people believed to be associated with Al Qaeda pictured Wednesday in the newspapers.
Samuel Mac, manager of the Denny's in Avon Co., said two men-he subsequently identified from their photographs as Adnan G. El Shukrijumah and Abderrauof Jdey-came into his Denny's which is just off Interstate 70, Wednesday about 8PM.
One ordered a chicken sandwich and a salad, the other just a salad, Mac said. They were demanding, rude and obnoxious, he said.
They said they were from Iran and were driving from New York to the West Coast.
Monique Kelso, spokswoman for the Denver FBI office said they had recieved at least a dozen calls about the pictures.

Excellent choice for a first post - Welcome to FR!
Warning... suspect may be found near pianos or other keyboard instruments...
OK...
The link works and points to a valid news article.

That is severely frowned upon here. Usually people either identify the mods (if it's a forgotten password) or acknowledge the previous screenname on their FReeper page.
...suspect believed to be extremely dangerous, but only when driving....
Why? Everyone they see around them is an infidel, someone they would eagerly kill
Does Colorado have concealed carry laws?
We do in Texas, perhaps terrorists might want to think twice if they cause trouble in a Dennys 'round these parts!
I hope the bastards got food poisoning!
Coming at ya!
What an odd attitude. What does it matter when someone signed up. You signed up one whole month ago. Is that reason for someone to question an article you post even when you post it correctly?
Note to Denny's managers: You must provide prompt service to terrorists or risk a discrimination lawsuit....
Of course, I posted the first day I joined, too, but then I AM a DU plant....(oh, darn, forget I said that, okay?)
I like that concept.
Can we apply it to firing squads, too?
Please?
Of all the eateries in this country - they pick Denny's, which serves a lot of pork products.
Why should the number of potential witnesses make a difference? Dozens of people witnessed a streak of light shoot from the Atlantic Ocean to the sky south of Long Island just before TWA Flight 800 blew up, but we all know the cause was static in the fuel line and not a missile of any kind.
On the other hand, maybe the FBI is pretending to be incompetent because they are hot on the trail of these guys and are already following them to the west coast in the hope they will lead to others. If the FBI reponded to the witness tips with the too much enthusiasm, then the bad guys might take a deep dive to evade detection.
Checked out FOX network listing for Sat. It doesn't list anything in particular. Also it doesn't list it as a Rerun, so hopefully they will profile them.
Have you considered the fact that the FBI might not want to give away the fact that they are going to go after them? Sometimes people just don't give things enough thought around here.
Corban,
I am so jealous! My first post was not only boring, it was a duplicate! Welcome to FR!
I see another Denny's related lawsuit. Profiling is so Un-PC.
