The FBI office in Denver has received 'numerous' calls about the seven people believed to be associated with Al Qaeda pictured Wednesday in the newspapers.
Samuel Mac, manager of the Denny's in Avon Co., said two men-he subsequently identified from their photographs as Adnan G. El Shukrijumah and Abderrauof Jdey-came into his Denny's which is just off Interstate 70, Wednesday about 8PM.
One ordered a chicken sandwich and a salad, the other just a salad, Mac said. They were demanding, rude and obnoxious, he said.
They said they were from Iran and were driving from New York to the West Coast.
Monique Kelso, spokswoman for the Denver FBI office said they had recieved at least a dozen calls about the pictures.

I would have sprinkled a little bacon grease on that chicken if I'd been working there.

Denny's? The odds are pretty good.

I wonder how many new members are afraid to make their first post here.
I lurked for months before joining here, and I was still afraid to post anything once I did join. That was a long time ago.

FR can be very brutal to newcomers.LOL! There used to be so much talk of Asbestos Underwear here and I've been through a few pair. Most of us have. But lately, there seems to be paranoia by a few folks on this forum. "He's a newbie, how dare he post a thought! Off with his ....whatever!"

But she said the FBI has no reason to believe any of the seven are in Colorado or traveling through.Nothing here, now move along...

IIRC, the FBI has been on the lookout for Adnan for quite some time.

Let's see. The FBI has NO IDEA where most of them are, but KNOWS that they AREN'T in Colorado heading for the West coast? Now that speaks volumes. So why put out the bolo? Was it for a distraction?

You'd think the fact that they received at least a dozen calls and were seen at Denny's would give them some reason to believe. Is it possible the FBI could be this incompetent? This is a rhetorical question, right?

Had they stopped at a 7-11 they never would have been noticed. They could have gotten hired.

Good Afternoon All-
"...There is something in the eyes of most of these jihaddis. I cannot quite put my finger on what it is..."
Agree with your assessment 100%. That crackpot Richard Reid had that same doe-eyed, thousand-yard gaze. How in the world can this peculiar characteristic affect so many murderous Jihaddis? I haven't seen "those eyes" in a normal person yet....only terrorists.

Interesting...from what I can tell, Rag 1 (Jdey) was born in Tunisia.
Rag 2 (Shukrijumah) is native to Saudi Arabia.
What exactly am I missing here?
