I received the following Guest Book Entry from my:
web site. I thought folks here on FR would be interested in reading it.
I presently and since march of 2003 am serving in Iraq with the Coalition Forces. I appreciate the fact that someone has taken the time to put this site on the web. People hear only the bad things over here. Things are not always good but the majority of the people here are good decent people. They deserve the right to make their own decisions and that is what we are trying to accomplish. My unit lost members during the combat phase, But these people were not lost for nothing. Their dedication and professionalism gave us all the motivation we needed to continue on the mission. The mission for us has never been WMD's it has been about the freedoms that as americans we take for granted. It was not about destroying Baghdad, it was about giving a child a chance to enjoy growing up without fear.
Now that things are getting tough people at home seem to be thinking it is a waste for us to be here.. Do not do this! Right now is when we are needed the most. If we leave here we leave it open to terrorist throughout the world and their agendas. We are here for the long haul. It was once said "that all it takes for evil to succed is for good men to do nothing" We have a fight on our hands and we will continue to but we need to understand that other countries helped us gain our independence and it cost them lives but now we are the greatest country in the world.
It is time to quit bickering and to stand together.
I told J. Maples that despite what the media may say, and despite the rantings of particular politicians, most Americans are behind them and understand the import of the mission and the risks and support it.
FYI...a good message.

Thank you for this post.
You are very welcome. The more we can support our personnel over there and their mission, the better.
Thank you for posting this!!

I adopted a soldier through Operation Air Conditioner. I never heard from him. My guess is that he was a little to busy to correspond. That's okay. I'm glad word gets out to our service people that we love and support them.
BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!
BTTT!!!!!!!
I literally just got back from the post office where I sent out 16 boxes of stuff to Iraq. The most important thing I think is the 100's of letters included in the boxes. I hope that helps.
God Bless those sons who fight the good fight, and sacrifice for what's just -- freedom and liberty.

Right on, Jeff. It is so important not just that we know that but that we let the troops know it, too.
Good post and thanks for giving it the exposure it warrants and deserves.
