Perhaps that is why Saddam was the *ONLY* Head-of-State that I heard that day praising the attacks and offer all of his considerable resources to assist any and all who would mount more such attacks.
Even Kim Jong-Il, the pie-eyed lunatic "president" of North Korea, offered his condolences to the American People.
Even Yassir Arabfart offered his condolences, at least in English.

The real question I have is. . .why has the administration been so adamant in dismissing that Saddam had a direct connection to the 9/11 attacks? Even more important, why has the administration been so adamant in dismissing that Saddam had ANY connection, however tangential, to the 9/11 attacks?

So will the Democrats. It sounds so much better to say Saddam had "no connection", especially when one is trying hard to sabotage our policies in this war and get George Bush defeated.
At least Rush covered one of these stories on his show today. One can only hope that the Bush administration is simply getting all of their ducks in a row for the eventual dot-connection press conference. You know, the one where the media will ignore the point in favor of trying to get Bush to say he's sorry or some such rot.
