An al-Qaeda terrorist cell in Japan has been under surveillance. It is now being finally broken up as we speak.
Japanese national police have been raiding offices and homes of various Arabs and Africans in Japan, coming up with suspect A-Q members or facilitators. These cicadae are everywhere!
One such terrorist financier suspect is a Bangladeshi, Mr. Islam Mohammad Him.
Photo of scumbag:

Here, in the video, is good Japanese TV news footage of him being busted at his office, and his office and other aQ offices being raided.

The alQaeda suspects were involved in "telephone card sales" and "used car sales", generating funds being used to fund terror operations against the allies. Him himself is said to have been moving vast sums of money around, via an alQaeda "underground bank". Japan has been a money source for the terrorists.

Kinda tough to "blend in" among the Japanese I would guess. Racial profiling is a no brainer for the Japanese.

I doubt once they get them shuffled off to the Greater Tokyo Detention Center, that their methods of interrogation will be as 'PC' as the US forces in Iraq these days are being instructed to be.
Japanese don't take too kindly to their cities or public transportation being 'sarin'-ed or 'nuked' again.

and they don't give out citizenship to foreigners at all readily. Kind of makes me want to live in a xenophobic homogenous society. Easy to sweep clean if you have to.

If you keep your nose clean, have a productive job, contribute to society, and make Japanese friends (none of these things difficult to do), Japan is one of the safest, fun, most exhilarating and intellectually active places to live. You do know that when the round-ups begin against the terrorist bad guys, they don't fool around, there is no place for the scum to hide, and there is no Japanese word for for "Political Correctness" and nobody is going to whine if they get 'roughed up' a bit.
The key of course is to not let it go too far, as in the case of Tokyo Governor Shintaro Ishihara, who seems to like NO foreigners.
PS, there are about 80,000 Americans in Japan currently.

I thought drugs funded terrorism. Now used car sales and phone cards do as well?

Asians really can distinguish by facial characteristics (especially the eyes - the corners generally go up while the Koreans and Chinese go down - Koreans tend to have flatter noses).
I used to do a lot of business with Asians.

I thought drugs funded terrorism. Now used car sales and phone cards do as well? There were reports a couple of years ago about ObL controlling the tanzanite gem business. Every time I'm on ebay or in a jewelry store and see tanzanite jewelry, it gives me pause.
