For all of you complaining that the major media were all ignoring the documentary made by North about the businessmen that Saddam had their hands amputated.
Paula Zahn did that story last night following the appearance of some of the businessmen with President Bush yesterday. She showed part of the documentary and had as guests both North and one of the businessmen with his new prostethic hand.
The segment ran at least ten minutes and maybe fifteen. With all the complaints about the media ignoring the documentary, I was surprised to see it discussed on CNN and surprised to find no comment here.
I don't watch CNN most the time, so I would not have seen it to comment on :) Heck I don't even watch Fox, I get my news online and from the voices in my head.
This is the second story on FR about CNN doing a story that went against it's reputation as having a liberal bias. What's going on down there in Atlanta?
Atlanta's burning.................
What took them so long?
Zahn's market share has dropped to less than 1% lately. But I guess I should be thankful that it gets ANY airtime by the lamestram.

Perhaps the CNN suits have finally gotten the message. It seems to me that they have. We cannot continue to deride CNN for previous sins if they have repented and changed. We should be cheering them and tuning in to help their ratings and prove our point.
They probably found out that Mr. North and some of the Iraqi gentlemen are due to appear on FNC tomorrow.
The numbers may be influencing CNN.
For example, CNN (1.5 million apprx) and MSNBC (1 million apprx) combined coverage of President Bush's speech was approximately 1 million less than FoxNews (3.5 million apprx).
I walked into a Merchants Tire store yesterday with my ten year old. CNN happened to be on the TV while I was at the counter. My son watched all of five minutes of it and (without any prior comment from me) when we were done he told me "Those people are idiots. They're trying to claim that George Bush lied". If a ten year old can "get it", I still have hope.
I could not care one bit of what CNN puts on. I don't watch is any more.
I saw it.
You could also tell it was heavily edited.
If CNN did something right my congratulations to them
I did not see it but I applaude CNN for airing it. Our people have a right to this information.
CNN has not changed. On impulse, I watched Paula Zahn following President Bush's address Tuesday evening.
My wife and I were infuriated, and I dashed off an Email message to her, pointing out that - with one exception - her producers chose people who's hatred for the President was barely contained.
It was the first time in over a year that I had watched CNN for more than 3-4 seconds when clicking the remote. It will be at least that long before I watch again.
That few minutes we watched made it very clear to me why CNN's ratings are falling thru the floor.
I try and avoid CNN like a heart attack. My question is why do you waste your time watching it?
I agree. Give credit where it is due. Good documentary too.
