Have folks in Houston, so I plan to get back down there soon. And thanks for the cordial Texan hospitality.
My gun club shut down it's 200 yard range, and I have been missing the use of my .243 M77. Last chuck I got was years ago.
As for my perspective on life in NY, there's a stop sign at every turn! But don't get me started!

A few notes on the get together. . .
The driveway is reserved for Jim Robinson and Dix. If anyone else needs close parking for mobility reasons let me know.
No smoking in the house.
There will be a cat and two old Bassets present. The cat can do as she wishes (as all cats do anyway). Always keep the entry gate to the courtyard closed in case the dogs wander out there - but try to keep them in the house or backyard.
Be mindful of the neighbors when you park.
Smile for the camera!

Perhaps some could meet/park off-site and carpool over to the location?! I happen to know that the VA parking lot is in the general vicinity of the event and it has ample parking for Vets and visitors and on Saturday the lot should have plenty of room if anyone wanted to park in one of their several satellite lots. Just a suggestion to help ease parking headaches.

Yes, if any of y'all want to arrange a spot and carpool, get together and make plans.
There is also a supermarket at Kirby and Holcombe. I left my car there one time when I went fishing with Dix. But you do this at your own risk.
