I thought I heard that there was supposed to be a Democrat response. The fact that the vast majority of alphabet network affiliates nationwide refused to carry the speech WAS "the Democrat response."

I have DSL through Verizon. I could get everything BUT Free Republic til now.
(I missed part of the speech because I was cussing out the computer, I should know better, but it just ticks me off.) Tin foil hat time, with regards to the timing -too weird.
The speech was good. President Bush has to give speeches , its the only way he can override the massive distortions going on , about Iraq, the economy, everything. The mainstream media is a Soviet styled propaganda machine for the democRAT party. They will never give him fair coverage, ever. They need to be monitored for distortions . President Bush can then address the nation and present the people with the facts.
I hope our President will continue with more speeches. I mean, no one on his election team should be shocked that his poll numbers have dropped, all the attacks of the press against him, over the past couple of months, have gone unanswered until now. I'm sure these attacks/ distortions are only going to get worse as we get closer to the election.

Dick Morris is rightfully unemployed, because he sucks. He knows nothing about leadership, all he knows how to do is stick his finger in the wind and guess where the sheep want to go, and he can't even get that right. Dick Morris is a loser

Morris got Clinton elected twice. Morris' advice also helped get Clinton impeached.

That is no rumor
Clancy divorced his first wife, Wanda, in 1998 after 27-29 years of marriage (depending on which source you use). The divorce became much more public than TC ever would have liked because of his simultaneous attempts to purchase the Minnesota Vikings. According to Mr. Showbiz News, Mrs. Clancy had filed for divorce two years prior (1996) with the reason given in her petition being that her husband had "committed adultery with one Katherine Huang," who was a New York assistant district attorney he supposedly met on the Internet. This was also reported in MSN Entertainment here. Along with his personal life, Clancy's financial data became public as a result of the Vikings purchase attempt. An article, written by WCCO of Minneapolis, provides many of the details and is available here: Paper Probes Clancy Cash Crunch.

Iraqis haven't forgotten about that Oil for Food program or how the UN and Europe screwed them UN humanitarians helped keep the killing machine in power in Iraq, while making millions. A corporation would have trouble getting away with this.
Journalists and Democrats are working to keep to put the UN back in charge.

Morris' basic message is that you need to "dumb down" and "pretty up" the message for the girlfolk, and Bush didn't do that.

Could there possibly be two less qualified people to speak about a presidential address from the War College than Morris and O'Reilly ?

Watched the speech. Appalled that it wasn't carried on any of the majors. However, I was very glad to see an old buddy of mine, Lt. Col. Mike Bills (whose Cav squadron was the lead element into Iraq at the beginning of Desert Storm, won a Silver Star), shaking hands with the President.
Congratulations, Bulldog, we all knew you would be destined to wear the stars one day.

May I remind Morris that his boy lied thru his teeth when he said our troops would be out of Bosnia by Christmas......and it's TEN LONG YEARS......AND WE'RE STILL THERE!!!!!
Guess Morris thinks women love lies......and maybe some do........but in my opinion 9/11 put a stop to that type of 'man'.

I've grown in my capacity to despise liberals and wavy conservatives.Agreed. But substitute "wobbly" for "wavy" (language from The Iron Lady herself).
