[history]
Political activist/director Michael Moore has taken the Cannes Film Festival by storm with his new Bush-bashing project "Fahrenheit 9/11." Not sending roses is Fred Barnes, executive editor of the Weekly Standard.
"A few years ago, Michael Moore ... in his first best-selling book 'Stupid White Men' ... wrote he'd once been 'forced' to listen to my comments on a TV chat show, 'The McLaughlin Group,'

Moore wouldn't have deserved to be an oarsman in one of Menelaus' thousand ships.

Sheesh. I heard the BBC Radio half-a$$ed review of this Cannes "event." The guy could find nothing remotely good to say about it, but he gushed (eeewwwww) anyway. The cinematography, the script, the direction--he named a host of others who were better and would probably have won, but it was as if they "had" to give it to him--he couldn't say why, though. No substantiating facts.
The capper? The BBC-Guy-on-the-scene asked one of their patented hardball questions, "How do you think President Bush would pronounce 'Palme d'Or'?" And he was shameless enough to give an (unintelligible) answer. It appeared to get a big laugh, though.
What a jackass. I think he was separated at birth from Ted Kennedy.

I know FLint ,Mi ,from which this fat slob came from.Like any leftist liberal,he found a formula to make millions, and left the real causes and the poor from Flint behind long ago.
BBC also interviewed angry film buffs callin le flint frog totally bullshit, the festival is for the art of film, Fellini,Bergman,Hitchcock etc,not this fat pigs exploitation!

Moore's "moment" speaks legions for the bankrupt left. How anyone can take that spud seriously is humorous and tragic. Yet he is the vanguard of leftist intelligencia. Let the left embrace this clown. Attempts to hold him accountable through debate or common discourse is absolute absurdity. He is a mockery of civility and an anarchist.

***Moore wouldn't have deserved to be an oarsman in one of Menelaus' thousand ships.***
Would he have qualified as the lying actor who told the Trojans the Horse was just a gift to the gods?
Or would he be better as Ephiealties who sold out the 300 Spartans at Thermophylae.
