I'm actually at work AGAIN this morning. "Ask Mode" starts tomorrow, so all these last minute code changes need checking in today, or they probably won't make it for Beta 1...

But, We need to get with Libertina and see what we are gonna do to make Flipper feel welcome ;0)

Your party sounds great!

As a born and raised Washingtonian, it does my heart good to read about all your events! You are truly a light in a dark land!

Maybe your next FReeper event could be promoted by this tax payer supported institution?

I would love to know what all those lefties would do to a conservative client!

Here is another article about the workers there:

Thanks, Tuckrdout! We have a great group - someday I'd like to see EVERY ONE of us at a party! The only rouble is, there are so many great people one evening or afternoon isn't enough time to visit properly with them all! BTW Lori was a great cook. I didn't even get any brisket because I was too busy chatting, but she made brisket, chicken, smoked turkey, etc. It was a roast beast feast! PINGS for you who have moved away from this chapter (sniff :( LOL)

Now that I'm sober, the picture of me and the dog is even funnier.

Finally got Chris's school schedule nailed down. Unfortunately, he's not going to get the two or three weeks off in August that we were originally hoping for. He's only getting one week off, so we're gonna have to break our Pacific Northwest trip into two parts. We originally wanted to include Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, the Dakotas and northern Utah and Nevada. Now looks like that part of the tour is going to have to wait until next year.

Looks like we're going to have to limit this trip to Northern California, Oregon and Washington. A quick look at the calendar and map and I think we can plan on arriving in Seattle on Saturday night August 7, and we can stay over Sunday night and depart on Monday morning.

I'm thinking we'll stop in Medford, Oregon, on Friday night on the way to Seattle, and then stay over in Portland, Bandon, Eureka, Santa Rosa and Monterey on the way home.

You will arrive when Washington weather is at it's finest Glory (Now watch it rain just because I said that!)!

August in Wa. State is truly the best I've seen in all my wanderings around this globe...can't wait to finally shake your hand!

Jim, should we plan the party for Saturday night when you arrive or for Sunday? We are really excited about you all coming here, just wish we could *kidnap* you for a little longer ;)

Would be better on Sunday if possible. Will probably arrive too late in the evening on Saturday.
Thanks,
Jim

BTTT We treat our guests well, ask The shrew. Of course, he is a gourmet chef and cooked for us. Hmm, you handy in the kitchen? LOL Just kidding. Seattle is famous for his venison products - and I'm certain we can round up some of Billthedrill's fine homebrew as well :)

Jim Robinson makes Puget Sound Tour!
